I think he meant rank 3. When you get to rank 3 for any rep you get a legendary.

The cryptarch also gives you random blues and legendaries when you rank him up

Makes more sense, thanks.

Better start getting back on that vanguard reputation then. Unfortunately I deleted all my other capes so I'm stuck with the new monarchy one until the cryptarch gets new stock.

I just don't feel like blade dancer is all that broken, I mean it's powerful sure, all of the abilities are, but you actually have a chance to stop a blade dancer unlike the other abilities. I've seen a few blade dancers get dropped before they even get a kill by regular weapons, and the other abilities sort of trump it 1 vs 1, so if you see it coming just activate your ability and crush it. On the other hand, other abilities don't really give you a chance to counter, and your chances to get away are slim even if you anticipate it coming, just a flash and you're dead. So even though blade dancer has greater kill potential than the other abilities, it's also riskier to use,so it seems "balanced" to me.

I can see it from a non hunter PoV, its a controlled super with the potential to consistently kill multiple people. But Warlocks get something similar with Sunsinger, and Voidwalker super is pretty powerful too. Titans have a crazy powerful bubble, specced right it makes them very hard to kill. And their Titan Fist is on par with the voidwalker super.

I honestly think the classes are pretty well balanced.

Some player thinks it's funny to just put the controller down and hang out in the cave for a long time while five other players are just waiting to farm...

Ok need a few people to help finish the last boss in the raid. Any takers?

Me

add sjay1994 I am a level 26 warlock voidwalker class

This is what I use

Nightfall is the strike, isn't it?
there's the weekly heroic strike- which can be done at various difficulties and awards strange coins- up to 9 total for the week at level 28. if you have some already you'll earn the rest.

there's the nightfall strike, which is level 28, (but has been done with all lower levels), and awards guaranteed legendaries/exotics or ascendant mats.

Last I checked, the only guaranteed thing was shaders, unless there's actual gear that's rewarded 100% of the time.

I believe the shaders are 100% for completing it but the chests offer actual loot. And the Nightfall missions offer guaranteed exotics or ascendant materials, both of which aid progression.

considering it's a 26 minimum and 27 recommended raid, you'd be in the way.

Damn. Yea I get tired mid-way in farming for engrams and I have 50% of the way of leveling up FWC and Vanguard to rank 2 to buy legendary armor.

Smh. This game requires too much energy for the casual gamer who wants to hop in and be successful.

Oh right.

Yeah, haven't done the 28 weekly or the nightfall yet.

It does. But that's life man. I'm using this game until my next rpg/game I like. Then I move on. I'll come back for major new content of course

This game literally made me look up "Skyrim for next gen" and the upcoming Dragon Age game to see if it will satisfy the need that Destiny hyped up for me but never delivered.

burning shrine is such a well designed map. only issues i have with it are its predictable spawns (which is more the fault of Destiny's spawn system) and the shallow killzone by the sun. in spite of these, the more i play it the more i'm impressed. i especially like how bungie solved the sightline issue across the middle by having the walls move. these provide height advantage and cover simultaneously. The sunglare also gives a slight advantage to people who are moving into the middle of the map without decorating the passage with superfluous cover. Hallways are wide and aren't cluttered with obscrutions or LOS blockers; walls are moved inwards slightly to hide on their sides instead; floors are raised in the locations. And then there's the opening theme. I mean I could go on and on. Everything just works

I wonder what the fuck happened to some of the other maps in the game.

When I play the Defender subclass I notice that the Fist of Havok is fairly OP also and that they should reduce the AoE. I don't even bother using the Shotgun, Auto Rifle, Sniper Rifle, or the Striker class because the game just seems like it's press to win when using them. I'm not complaining for the sake of complaining, these are problems that make the game hard to enjoy.. It seems like there is no real reward for skill in the game.

Having like 4 layers of shield doesn't take skills too if you are talking like that... Also a hulk smash doesn't take with 1 hit people inside the shield. Sounds more like you are just fighting against strikers that know what they are doing.

Dragon Age is gonna be amazing absolutely cannot wait for it.

Don't leave I'll miss you!

<3

I won't leave of course, I still love the community. And if I get an invite to play I'll play since it's a digital copy and I won't ever sell it. With big new content I'll probably be playing a lot as well. But if I ever practically stop playing the game it won't be for a while.

Let me use this as an excuse to post this picture though

Mr Famicom, Admiral Puppy, are you guys able to get on in an hour?

Still applying for some jobs, but in one hour I was planning to stop. So give me an invite and I'll play.

I have only played on Burning Shrine, Aslyum, and the one moon map with the green sphere in the middle twice. . but I capped my weekly crucible mark. Why the hell does the matchmaking always pick the same maps over and over.

Those are all 3v3 maps if i'm not mistaken, they are good but most people won't see them if they dont play any 3v3 mode (and if Bungie stops being dicks with pvp modes in general and not lock them away, salvage is the best and yet we can only play them when Bungie allows)

burning shrine is absolutely for sure in rumble, at least

Burning Shrine really is just amazing.

I haven't played on Burning Shrine yet. Don't really like that one map on Mars...uh...the one with point B that's hard to capture. Also not a huge fan of that second earth map.

Rusted Lands and First Light are okay.

Well if anyone just wants to go into the raid and piss fart around and give it a true blue shot without any ultimate commitment to success or failure I'm keen to have a go. Got an afternoon to burn and guess this would be a good use of my time.

I'm on PS4, TheVeilrae

I know this isn't the right thread for it, but can you give me a run down of why I should be interested in this game due to the craving Destiny caused me to have. What's cool about this game? Do I get a house, a family, my own character? You know, stuff that wasn't in Destiny.
