I thought it was gonna be a new mission, not just an old one with modifiers thrown on.
EDIT: Hah, nice, second mission I got was Restoration.
After getting all legendary gear and getting to 28, there really isn't much to it, at all. I have yet to step into the raid due to lack of communication in game or matchmaking. Other then the daily bounties and the boring to death strikes. There is absolutely no reason to login. I don't enjoy crucible, so that's no go either.
Where the hell is that content they spend so much money on? The interesting boss fights with at least some mechanic, or the rewarding gameplay. Did they remove all the content to sell it to us separately for the amazing price of $19.99 each? This game man, biggest disappointment in a long long time.

Ran through the Queen's mission in no time, on remote play no less. Got a legendary chest that I immediately dismantled. This was some real lazy shit on Bungie's part.

Does it always give a chest? That's really the last legendary I need with a nearly fully upgraded legendary chest and exotic chestplate in my possession already. I need Legendary legs or a helmet (to replace my exotic helmet).

There is little "searching" to be done to find the glaring flaws and lack of real new and diverse content in this game.

I bought my first legendary and found it extremely satisfying. A little later I did manage to find a legendary sniper from an engram and it was even more fun. I think the point is to not trust RNG 100%. Unless you're extremely unlucky you'll get some drops sooner or later, but working on rep and marks will enable you to at least progress, meaning it won't be the end of the world if RNG doesn't favor you.
Keep it if you don't have a leg helm. You might find another titan armour piece you prefer to the Helm, or one that you switch out for Defender guilds.

Is it though? The weight of a single player on a server should be so minimal that 10-15 minutes of inactivity should not be an issue. I could understand it if I were on patrol, but that was a mission and I was deep into the no respawn zone...

Oh, and this is bullshit. So all this is is just another half assed attempt at a "faction" without any sort of story, logic, sense or purpose. Just more shit to grind to get the same, regular "Legendary" weapons, emblems and a couple shaders. Yeah okay. Oh and the bounties include mindless tasks in both Crucible and Vanguard, not just one or the other. Brilliant.
How exciting...Meanwhile, Reef just sits there and has absolutely no purpose... :/

It should be resetting later today.
It was easy as fuck though, the Arc burn modifier made it a breeze with my Striker Titan. Now I got a legendary Queens Guard Helm, urgh, ugly thing, getting dismantled.

Exzorsist there is just not enough content in the game. there is barely no endgame content. The game crawls to a halt after lvl 20.
Shit is fucking boring unless you enjor running through the same enviroments over and over and over all the while while killing the same enemies that always spawn from the same spots. Then you get to kill a bulletsponge without any decent rewards.
Stop saying people are playing the game wrong or rushing through it. There is barely any content at all.

Meh, I needed the shards anyway. Helm of Inmost Light looks pretty ridiculous, but the Queen's Gard helm looks like the same but with spikes stuck on the sides. :lol
I'm still saving up for the Astrolord Helmet. Considering I'll play this game enough to ever get my FWC rep up to 2.
At the same time, this event, which was never stated to add content, is not a reason for more complaining about it.
Also... 'so little' content? That's a bit extreme for a game so many people have put 20, 30, 40 hours into.

Solar burn this week and my primary shoots it, vision of confluence is my favorite weapon so far in this game. Damn good scout rifle.
It might be a good idea to keep a legendary piece of each armour slot in case you get an exotic chest or something down the line and want to use that instead of the exotic helmet.

It would have been great to actually go to Reef and have a whole bunch of new missions and maybe a new strike or two. That would have been much better and more exciting. But no, just the same bounties and the same grinding.

Ive put 100+ hours in Tetris on gameboy. That doesnt mean the game ia packed with content lol.

Right, so people have no right to complain about the failure of Bungie to deliver on their promises, pre-release and even after release ("We're only just getting started")? Please man, that's not how consumerism works.
I enjoy the core gameplay, which is why I'm still playing, but the problem lies in Bungie underdelivering on what they tell/told people.
And you don't even need to play 80 hours to see almost all the content in the game dude, get real.

I have also put tons of hours into it but actual locations and variety is little. How about make game where i haven't done same strike for a 100th time just because i have to grind out reputation.
This event is do same missions with difficulty modifiers.
Gameplay is saving grace of this game.
No offense but it took you until you saw that to figure out that Bungie cut things from the game? Devs cut stuff from every game. Destiny isn't a static experience. It's not meant to just be what it was when it came out two weeks ago. Alot of the things that were cut will eventually make into the game.
