I am pretty glad i power leveled my other 2 characters to max level over the weekend afk xp leeching at the loot cave. Now I can gear them up super easy this week and then farm the shards i desperately need for my main.

eeeh. generally speaking your primary slot is not necessarily the wisest use of your exotic weapon. it's cool that the raid legendaries have that benefit to them imo, just like the raid armor has extra light.

That should just tell you that exotic primary weapons currently are in need of buffs to make them actually worth using

I am very nearly holding my own against AR's in Crucible right now with this thing, the rate of fire seems maybe higher than most Scout Rifles? Doing pretty well with it to be honest, and this is coming from someone who generally hates single or burst fire weapons in most games.

scout rifle and hand cannon pace is perfect for this game. it opens up the combat, and by extension the maps.

Completely agree. The last several matches I've played using this and where most people are using Scout Rifles or Hand Cannons have legitimately been the most fun I've had in the Crucible.

Today I decided to dismantle all the legendaries and exotics I got for other classes and boy was it worth it. So many shards. Got me up another light level. I think I will continue to do that until I hit lvl 30 with my Titan and I start something else.

I have some exotics for other classes and I'm tempted to do this but I will eventually roll one of each class anyway so I think I'm going to keep them. My Titan will be the work horse that paves an easier path for the characters behind it.

Don't hold your breath, they arnt going to address the loot system, the way loot is distributed is intended design. In a typical MMO you dont even get crafting mats/shaders for kills. You can go a long ass time with getting nothing at all, be grateful.

All boss events have systems in place to avoid exploitation. You can still exploit them anyway, like in the pits last week the shrieker will despawn in a few seconds if you run out of the room but it wont reset the boss fight.

You can only do one mission per bounty so there's at least a daily (or weekly, depending on when her bounties refresh) limit.

The 2 games I've just played I struggled with the scout rifle, everyone was carrying AR's and the scout rifle doesn't do enough damage to actually put up a good enough fight against the faster AR's, it's like they're doing the exact same damage but twice as fast.

It's RNG, though the odds seem heavily skewed towards helm/chest. A couple people now have mentioned getting a sniper rifle. I did 4 runs and got 1 helm and 3 chests.

well that sucks. i leveled up FWC and now i'm losing vanguard marks (i've been at 200) since I'm now working on getting that up to a rep level where I can actually buy stuff from the vanguard vendor...

I don't really agree, because while some of them are definitely worth using in some situations (PvP especially I'd think, once upgraded), special and heavy weapons are your big hitters in doing damage to bosses and tough minibosses on the way up to them. so it's nothing wrong with the specific exotic primaries (well, okay, some of them do seem gimped, but in general), so much as something critical about the other weapon classes.

Well the issue is that the in game mission details for the Raid say "rewards" making it seem guaranteed. And the fact that you NEED the raid gear to get to level 30 makes it even worse, since there is no other avenue. I feel like I will be stuck at 28 forever.

Thanks for the heads up - I've actually capped off at 200 last week before the reset. I'm not quite rank 3 yet and wanted so save for the weapons. Man It's so stupid that we can only hold 200. What is the point of that???
