Crucible rep is easier to grind than Vanguard.
I may have been doing it wrong then? I got killed like 20 times as a Lv25. Soooo many adds! Like neverending waves of adds.

If you have an Arc fusion rifle, it should absolutely melt the boss thanks to the modifier on the mission. Just peek out, shoot him, take cover. Once he's dead, kill the vandals which should also be decimated by the arc fusion rifle.
If you don't, well, other arc weapons work too, but fusion rifles are really effective lol.
This line is my signal to turn down the TV volume and pop on Pandora. The end of that chapter is my grind spot for a couple bounties.
Speak of the devil, that will be my first stop when I fire the game up today! 20 double kills with the Fusion rifle.....again.
I'm a Titan, I like my grenades so which is better at reducing the grenade time?
I'd love to see the chaos of a 6 vs 6 on it. That being said, when we finally get Mercury for PvE....
Man, that skybox / flying to the planet with the huge, blazing sun.....amazing loading screens.

You'll want Discipline then. I've been stacking Intellect (super cooldown) and Strength (melee cooldown) for my Defender titan. New Monarchy is a good faction for Int/Str. Dead Orbit is good for Disc/Str.
I also really want the MIDA Multi-tool. Also a Hawkmoon. However, at this point I'm trying to pretend they don't exist haha.

I think I was using a solar fusion against the solar shanks, I think I only have an arc shotgun though. I'll have to check. Kinda hard to switch secondaries in menu on the fly while being chased down by shanks and vandals tho.

There are guaranteed rewards. Can you solo it? Depends on how much you hate yourself. I hope you're a sunsinger, because one death and you get kicked back to orbit. If you're incredibly patient you may be able to do it. But you're already taking a big damage reduction as is, so it may be too much to overcome solo.
Yeah I will probably go Dead Orbit after I have ranked my Vanguard to level 3. Do you get weapons (free) if you get crucible rank to level 3?

I've been rocking this since lvl 16 or so. Actually, I THINK this is a slightly better version of the same model that I was also using prior.
Haven't found anything better yet, as far as Scout Rifles go.
Nope, but 3 is required to purchase any weapons from those factions. You have to purchase them using crucible marks and they are 150 a pop. You can purchase weapons from the Vanguard vendor for vanguard marks but that requires 3 vanguard rep as well.

Don't switch them. Just use Arc. But not a shotgun x.x See, the Arc Burn modifier is active which massively increases the effectiveness of Arc weapons. One of my arc fusion rifle shots decimates anything that isn't the boss, including shanks with their solar shields. I can actually kill the boss before he can do much of anything if I start hitting him on his way out of the wall haha.
Shotgun isn't likely to work very well, though.

I've been using the same Level 20 scout rifle and hand cannon for a while now, would be nice to get some legendaries. I have Thorn, but it's actually not very good.
One of the best things about this game: scheduling and prepping what you gotta do when you start up for the night. Cracktastic indeed.
