So after a week long love/hate relationship with Destiny, I was contemplating just giving up and shelving it. During lunch, I always get a bottle of Coke Zero, and recently they've been doing that marketing promotion where names are found on bottles. Well today I got this...

Is it The Conduit? I just got that (instead of shards) for clearing the Nightfall.

Also yeah, Nightfall this week is waaaaaaaaaaaay easier than Phogoth. Just carry fire weapons, all of the encounters are pretty safe and have easy funnel/fallback points. Then for the boss just stay up top and have one person kite the Minotaur away the whole time and get free hits in on the boss. Did it on our first try (two 28's and one 27) in about 25 minutes flat. Phogoth took us around 4 times as long, albeit we were all one or two levels lower.

The two boxes on the right looked empty on the post-game screen, but after that screen when you hit the matchmaking screen and you actually get your items on the right-hand side, I had 4 items.

I did my first raid with Thorn. It's pretty fantastic on some parts. You can two shot harpies on the last boss which is awesome.

Completed the Nightfall with a friend and then did the weekly heroic on the hardest difficulty, that was an easy 1000 rep lol

hip fire with the pulse rifle is sooo good

it's completely replaced my scout rifle for pvp (looking for a legendary hc now) but in pvp its finally become my go-to weapon for any situation.

hunters not using gunslinger's trance... pls

it turns any kind of sustained fire into a laser after a precision kill. running around with lvl 3 trance and a machine gun is something everyone should experience

That is very useful. Those harpies on the last boss are a pain! And then to two-shit them, at that.
