Going to try and farm out some Qounties.
The Walker one you have to get the kill shot? Best mission?
And the Shader one can't be done yet..

I'm 500/1000 and 0 rank so far.

A rare fusion rifle just refreshed on the gunsmith for 1600 glimmer. Perfect if you have the exotic fusion rifle bounty (Shattered Memory Fragment) and need them to break down for the cores.

Will be there from 1 AM to 4 AM EST.

Just what I need, while I'm at work right now.... FML

Gunsmith is selling rare fusion rifles if you're doing pocket infinity.

Also just got thunder devil shader for leveling Cryptarch.

What is the pocket infinity?

Edit - it's the name of the exotic bounty mission that requires 10 fusion rifles. Got it.

Shit I am nowhere near that bounty but think I will go buy as many as I can right now. Thanks!

6 Queen's missions, 6 Queen's robes. Meanwhile I'm still wearing a blue helmet. *sigh*

Yeah, I went through that hell yesterday. Had to do 9 missions and finally got one, after nothing but robes beforehand.

and my friend was getting helmets just to rub it in.

You know, at first when I got level 28 I was really burnt out. But new I realized level 28 is perhaps the best part of the game. Forget ridiculous bounty requirements telling me what to do and how to do it, forget leveling up factions and vanguard, forget dealing with the cryptarch. I'm not going to level up much further until I get raid gear, so I can just chill and replay missions I want to play on difficulties I want to pay them on, play whichever mode of crucible I want how I want (except Salvage, the best mode. Needs to be permanent). Help friends out, and then try the raid whenever I get a group together.

Only thing stopping me now is leveling up the queen just for the shaders. Lucky they only require level 1.
This right here. I feel like I was set free once I hit 28. I have my gear, I have very capable weapons, and there are no missions that are too challenging

Tomorrow, I'll try out using Share Factory and posting a video of this final boss kill of the raid. Ended up getting the clan trophy for clearing VoG.

HELP

the fucking speaker.

did not put back the cloak I wanted but has ANOTHER hawk one in its place.

but the color is horrible does anyone have any clue if it's affected by shaders? I must know

Its not affected by shaders. I accidentally bought it by dropping my controler whilst browsing the speaker's stock =/

Now that I've finally gotten my ass to Mars and fought the Cabal, I wanted to comment on the enemy design.

In short, a disappointing lack of imagination. We get three races of aliens and one of robots, and they're all biped humanoids (a few floating robots aside). Some are thin, some are chunky, a few have some extra limbs, but they're all confined to the same set of appendages. I wish we could fight some really alien aliens.

They are also pretty similar to fight. I battled the Cabal the same as I do the Fallen, just with a bit less melee combat as they hit hard. That's it; they still fall to headshots, still have the same mix of light/heavy/ranged types, and so on. I was hoping we'd have to blow their armor off in chunks or something.

There's no discernible difference in how I need to fight any of the races in the game, making all the effort that went into creating them feel somewhat wasted.

I got bottom paged so I'll ask again. Anyone wanna run the weekly on level 28 difficulty? Level 28 Sunsinger here.

Edit. Derp, forgot to say I'm on PS4.

I just got my first choice of exotic bounties. I have the option for either Bad Ju Ju (awful from what I hear), Pocket Infinity, or Super Good Advice.

It's between Pocket Infinity and Super Good Advice I guess. I'm leaning towards Super Good Advice but I already have the legendary machine gun Zombie Apocalpyse which is pretty damn good. What's my best option here?

Dammit! The weapons vendor is finally selling rare fusion rifles and I don't have any glimmer. Need them to complete my exotic bounty.

What's the fastest way to make glimmer now that the Shrine of Oryx is patched?

I just got the actual skill that makes Pocket Infinity special, and I highly recommend it. Full automatic fusion rifle that returns ammo directly to the magazine is insane. My magazine size is 3 (8 if you choose increased magazine size over stability) but I'll sometimes fire 10 times without reloading.

Melts everything.

Is it just me or is the defense stat meaningless? It rises but I still am in trouble after a shot or two from almost any enemy over level 12.

Pop a Black Wax Idol and chill in front of the cave of wonders.

Quite like the mimic alien design from edge of tomorrow, that would have made a fun alien to hunt...

Hopefully we'll get a more diverse range when the DLC packs start dropping...

kill enemies in the nightfall strike

until the fusion rifle stabilizes

O_O

I ran last week's solo like 15 times, just killing the initial wave of thralls/cursed thralls until I killed 200. Not sure what a good strategy would be for this week's.

Also read it carefully. The kills have to be with fusion rifles.

I have the helm, the chest and now the sniper rewards from the queens wrath.

Just need that Magic purple space penis bus ship and I will have all the mission rewards.

At least they did add shields to some of the regular ones you see in higher tiers and have to shoot them with the appropriate kind of weapon. Sure that does not make them entertaining or wildly different but it does change up your tactics.

I was more annoyed at the AI they implemented. Specially when you find them fighting against each other, suddenly they become best friends trying to shoot you down.

quick question about nightfall. I'm dead by the boss and my two teammates are alive.

Can I drop out and join back in and be alive again?

Yes, but then next time two people are down at once, it counts as a full party wipe. Also you can't if you're the fireteam leader.

I haven't noticed that yet, or did you mean the big heavy shields? I fight them like they're heavy Jackals - hit the shoulder outside the shield, then land the headshots. That or break out the rocket launcher.

Also, the Cabal make it feel like I'm fighting the cast of Gears of War.

Awesome I'll go with that. I haven't been using fusion rifles very much so this will encourage me to branch out and not just use a sniper rifle all the time.
