Well, today has been my luckiest day yet. I have gotten 3 Exotic items from Legendary Engrams, and 2 of them are actually for my class!
I got the Light Beyond Nemesis Helmet for Warlocks, Voidfang Vestments Chest piece for Warlocks, and the No Backup Plans gauntlets for Titans.
Oh, and I got my first Exotic Bounty today. I'm working towards getting the Invective shotgun.

You get a significant bonus damage against the enemy shield if you use the right elemental weapon.
For example: yesterday I ran a story mission on Venus with Fallen Shanks who had the solar shield. It took 7-8 shots with my handcannon to bring them down. However, with my shotgun, which had solar damage, it only took one shot.

Screw the Mars mission for the queen. lol. Just gonna try to do the easier ones if I can. I soloed one on Venus and the Moon but that Mars mission sucks. Those Psion guys are no joke.
Really starting to get burnt out. Wanna get that cape from the Queen's Emissary but it's taking so long just to get to rank 1 I dunno if I'll do it unless she gives me easier bounties. Really getting worn out and the missions are always the same.

Dang! Had a lot of a fun in the raid tonight. Fig, HiFi, Heaven, Afro, Aesthetic, you all did AMAZING tonight.
Anyway, I managed to capture the video of us taking on the final raid boss. It has my voice overlayed over it (sorry!) but it turns out we actually beat the dang thing in just under 8 minutes.

You will hit 29 with fully upgraded legendaries + 1 exotic armor piece (would set you at 111 Light, 2 over level 29). You need raid legendaries in the other 3 slots to get to 120 for level 30 since they have 3 base Light higher than a normal legendary.

Well, I hit Level 29. Not gonna bother to upgrade my boots, since they're normal legendary.

Out of the two Exotics I've seen, Sunbreakers and Praxic Fire, I much prefer PRaxic Fire. Extends the duration of your Radiance, while the Sunbreakers only extend the duration of your Solar Grenade.
Praxic Fire is Chest, Sunbreakers are gauntlets.

OH wow, that's a pretty good bonus. That shortened revive time could be the difference on whether you wipe or not.

Hit Level 29 yesterday, all raid gear, lots of legendary/exotic weapons etc. but I suddenly lost all motivation for the game. There's just so much else I want to play and it's been 100% Destiny since it was released.
It really is a fantastic game, even if I agree with all the common criticisms. I think it's best for people with more self control than me to play a little each day over a long period of time so the grind doesn't wear you down.
The Vault of Glass Raid was easily one of my gaming highlights of recent memory. Struggling to beat it for so long the first time, and then absolutely dominating it in less than 1 hour once I'd found a strong team. I highly recommend that everyone try to beat it if possible before moving on from the game, very satisfying.

You know, I thought this was gonna be the only game I'm gonna play until the end of the year.
Doesn't feel like that anymore. Game has clear issues and Bungie is giving everyone a silent treatment. I tried to convince myself that I've been brainwashed by all the negativity surrounding this game, but the more I play it, the less I can justify the condition of Destiny at this moment.
Hearing something like "we are working on a patch that will alleviate most issues players are experiencing" (lag, RNGevil, everything but Auto Rifle being useless in PVP, being dropped items you can't use (different class), etc.) would sound great.
I feel like I should quit playing and return in a few months when Destiny is (hopefully) a much better game. But when I leave once, I'll probably never return. Too many great games on the way to miss because of Destiny.

Congrats, how many more shards till level 30? You might just be one of the first level 30s in game
It's a little surprising to me how few times I see someone doing a res during raid footage while also firing at the enemy. You can do both - just hold the button down while you continue to fire away. Seems like a little thing, but it could be the difference between success and failure.

Damn...anybody know what items zur is selling this week then?
No one will know until he's actually here. I'm honestly hoping he has something besides the warlock gauntlets. It was kinda bullshit. He had the Warlock gauntlets 2 weeks in a row while the other two classes actually got different things to pick from.
Welp. Hopefully 13 is enough for whatever warlock related armor xur sells this week. (Please gauntlet or leg armor)
Well in MY case, I hope he sells the gauntlet again, or leg armor. XD
The armor he sells directly should always be 13 Strange Coins. There will also be one exotic weapon for 17-23 Strange Coins, and one exotic engram (which may be randomized but so far has been chest armor) for 23 Motes of Light which is guaranteed to be exotic but not necessarily for your class.
Same here man. Hit 29 and now it's like... fuck man, I need a break from this game. Gauntlet or something maybe. Just been playing so hard since release and now having run the raid 3 times I'm just done lol. Kind of sad since the Queen stuff is going on now, but honestly the rewards are like... bad. Got 1 raid piece, lots of exotics / legs... I just don't know how much more of the game I can experience.
Was fun as fuck tho.

Cousin invited me to Queen's Wrath quest, it's the easy Earth quest. Got a legendary chest piece and dismantled it for Ascendant Shards ^_^
Man i really miss capture the flag, was bummed out it's not there.
Also hoped they would do something in the crucible with multiple stages like invasion in Halo Reach or simple modes like VIP or Headhunter. All those multiplayer modes just up for grabs...
I keep hearing about the cave but I have no idea where or what it is.
What mission do I go to? 0_0

That's my impression too. When you hit level 29 or 30 there's nothing else to do, unless you want to level up an alt. Plus there are so many good games to play in the next months. Hopefully the expansion delivers.
