PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | September 2014

Wife and I played D3 demo on the PS3..she loved it. She watches me play on the PC. I will make a comparison that its kinda of like D3 but side scrolling beat it up with items.

Loved D3 on PC as well. Especially after the expansion...that is tough call but I would side with D3 more than likely.

Still better than AC3.

Better than shit doesn't mean it's not another kind of shit, though.

If you have someone to play with, then D3 is a pretty great choice. I've been rocking D3 with my friends whenever they come over.

Ha! Don't even. Do you know who you're talking to?
I scoff at the price because Frozen Synapses was never a $25 game (PC pricing) and it's not a $20 game either (Vita pricing). I bought it on PC and Tablet so I feel like I know what this game is worth and I'd price it at $15. So, I will just wait for it to go down in price, like all Vita games do, and pick it up on the down lo'. I understand it's a revamped port for the Vita but the game has devalued. Also, I'm not overly fond of developers putting out hype articles without a price because they're embarrassed of it or "it hasn't been decided yet".

Off course I don´t know who you are, unless your real name is Coolasj19 (then it would shrink down the posibilities a lot). ;)

So, you liked FS on PC before it became AAA on the Vita. That the game is based on a smaller game doesn´t make it a smaller game on the Vita. I understand if you don´t have much money or isn´t interested because you already played it on two platforms. But to say that the game is too expensive is nonsence IMO.

The fact that you bought it on PC and IOS is more clouding your perception of the Vita version than make you see things more clear (because you already have an idea of what you think the game is). This is not a port or a remaster, this is a remake that the studio have worked on for two years.

@leehutch1212 @DoubleElevenLtd I don't know much about anything, but I don't think u should wait too long with announcing the price..

@mellan_Konsten @leehutch1212 @DoubleElevenLtd I'll find out when that'll be tomorrow.. Its very reasonable for 2 years work and a huge game

@mellan_Konsten its had a fortune spend on it,.. we're asking for the bare minimum we can ask for. A game like this in 2001 woud be £40.

lee hutchinson @leehutch1212 · 22 tim

@mellan_Konsten and the dev cost is identical.. inflation-adjusted-wise. So back then it was more than 2x easier to break even.

Now, let´s hope for a Frozen endzone Vita port by the same team! :)

Have no way of getting d3 without adding psn bucks and she would get it in pc one she gets one. I had 43 bucks and spent 6.99 on dragon dogma. Ps3 d3 is forty bucks sadly. :(

Sorry, somehow I overlooked that PS3 part. I'd advise against buying a PS3 version, since it won't have future support from Blizzard, meaning no update patches.

new digimon wsj scan floating around
it features a car
can we drive?!
there's also a girl who should really button down her shirt and think about wearing pants
there's a digimon above a brown terriermon that has a very meme-able face

Does anybody know about a website or system similar to isthereanydeal but for PSN? I find myself missing out on a lot of sales because I never found out about them. Missed DR1 a few weeks ago, almost missed P3P yesterday.

Roll7's new game is OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood.

Coming in 2015.

I've been waiting to get back into OlliOlli: do any of you experience any crashes now?

Yea, I recently played through the entirety of the game's levels on normal then again on pro and didn't get a single crash. Fantastic game, incredibly excited for OlliOlli 2. Though hopefully they get rid of rad mode, the completionist in me wants to do everything but rad mode just is not fun.

Rad mode is like forcing a baby bird out of a tree to fly, you gotta make the jump if you want to be the best.

Most of the high scores on the leaderboard can't be achieved unless you're hitting everything perfect at the very least.

Edit:
My main problem with rad mode is that there is no point in doing tricks or getting a good score, so it takes away the most fun aspect of the game for me, and instead becomes very repetitive and stressful when you faceplant right at the end.
Generally speaking you're correct. Unless you're playing for scores on the main levels or spots there is no real reason why you'd risk doing tricks whilst in rad mode. That being said once you settle into attempting tricks I think the rhythm of landing perfectly follows suit. At least for me when you're attempting combos there is a fairly finite space to land that practically forces you into perfect landings.

That's just me of course. It's not as stressful when you stack it if you know you can always do better on another attempt.

Rad mode is like forcing a baby bird that was literally just born 15 seconds ago out of a tree to fly. And keeping on bringing it back to the nest and knocking it out again until it happens to be ready to fly a long ass while later.

Not really, because while PC games have many storefronts and bundles to keep track of, you can easily find all current prices on PSN in one place so there's no real reason to have a site tracking everything since the store itself does it.

So... If you page through the 'weekly deals' link on the SEN website on Saturday you'll never miss anything. I say Saturday specifically since then you'd catch the rare weekend flash sales.

I had an account on my roomies PS4 since launch

I got my ps4 with destiny. when i download and install games that I have saves for, it doesn't download the saves from the cloud?

SO I have to manually transfer them?

Have there been any updates about Risk of Rain and when it is coming to vita? I can't remember hearing anything for months. Heard someone mention the PC version on a podcast today and it reminded me that it is supposed to come to vita. Do we even have a vague release window or anything?

Started playing Danganronpa 1.

I'm not easily creeped out, but
Monokuma's voice
gives me the willies. The only word I can think of that comes close is
unwholesome
.
