I'll still do them for a chance at the sniper rifle since I have no Legendary special weapons. And for the class item and shaders. But still, pretty disappointed with Bungie's desicions.

Christmas Cave had to go and you all know it.
As far as the Queen's stuff goes.... again, it HAD to go. We all would of had maxed gear by next week. Doing the earth mission and getting 3 Ascendant Shards is OP and needed to be gone.

hey now, that sniper rifle could come in handy. especially if you need a stronger weapon that does arc/solar/void damage
Why don't they just put a message in the main menu that says, "Sorry, Destiny is currently on hold due to you progressing too fast. Please wait a a couple of months so we can enhance your Destiny experience <3 Bungie"

You can tell Bungie has absolutely no idea what they're doing in the world of loot.
The whole system is a mess. Low level enemies drop the same loot as bosses. Legendary engrams are more often to be rare items than legendary items. Everything is a rep grind. No consistent way (now) to get high end upgrade materials.
They need to look long and hard at how they run their loot game if they want me to come back for Destiny 2.

That was my exact reaction. Fuck that shit. I still need some purple gloves, but I'd rather grind towards being able to buy them as opposed to getting gear that I can't even grind towards the materials I need.

Can't believe they'd get rid of Asc Mats from Queen items. This game officially is about nothing but the grind. Cannot wait for the Fall Exodus when players have better shooters to play.
No Loot cave and no ass shards.

They nerfed all farming but didn't fix the ridiculous odds when decrypting purple engrams? I guess the only option now is grinding faction reputation.

The upgrade system is based on breaking down legendaries.
You mean Bungie wasn't smart enough to realize people would break down the mission reward armor?
Bungie screwed up by giving guaranteed legendary drops each mission. If it were limited, we wouldn't be discussing this this.

How can they not? They programmed the Queens bounty to give us mainly chests and helms, they also added in shards when dismantled. I mean, what else did they think was going to happen? Are they running this game half asleep?
Oh yes there are some thing they could have actually fixed as well.

If you already have legendary helm/chest, there is absolutely no fucking point in doing the Queen's bounties. Unless you want the useless stuff the vendor is selling

Me too, and glad I decided not to spend shards to upgrade to 29. I have enough now but saving them until I get raid gear. They just got a massive rarity spike. I had one extra chest plate I was waiting to dismantle, should have done it last night.
Not if you already have all legendary gear and backups for your exotics. For me though, every chest plate I got had better stats than the last. Every single one.

The problem is you'd have to be incompetent to not see them being abused. Like, we're talking MMO 101 stuff here.
Maybe that's why they kept actively insisting it wasn't an MMO, they have no idea what the Players do in them?

I'll admit that The Supremacy is pretty nice. I was mostly referring to the lame weapons you get by increasing the Queen's Reputation.

Yea I agree with you in that they both had to go... But at the same time removing shards completely wasnt the way to go since you already had them in place (they should have seen it coming). It renders the "special" event completely useless. Probably should have nerfed it to 1 shard per legendary or something instead so it's still something but not completely broken.
its not even the best way for level 20 players to get to 24 because level 20ish players can still get to 24 on nothing but rare gear which the strike playlist provides on top of rep and marks with MUCH less difficulty as well.
qw helped people get past the 24-27 hurdle more than anything else.
I can't see what the problem was with getting ascendant mats from the Queen event. Maybe I'm being short-sighted, but that only helped everyone out by not allowing us to get a paltry amount of mats every day from the heroic daily. The event itself? I'll admit I was against it at first, but it's fine for getting people ready to do the raid.

Despite having fun with it, I feel like I bought an incomplete turd and should've waited a year or more. How can they not know people would break down the queen's legendary armor? Are they even fucking familiar with the game they're making? I feel like I paid to test alpha code.
