Wow, yea I had to look again to see what you meant. SNKFanatic, I think you just blew many a minds tonight. I know tonight will be spent looking for badass pngs to use. to make. Great screens, too. Definitely got my hype on for SK.

At work now, but will post my lame screens later.

Hehe when I make some more I will post them if anyone wants to use them.

By the way I can't claim that I made those Neptunia ones or found out about the PNGs. I snagged them for our Vita wallpaper thread and I am starting to use those as templates. May make some K-On ones as well hehe
 
Man, I wish I wasn't at my parents house for the weekend (away from my PC with all my game backups), all these screenshots are making me want to organize my vita games and backgrounds. But I can't at all unless I want to straight redownload all my games (I do not want to do this)
 
I did make these and anyone is welcome to use them. I hope they work ok as far as size goes. I need to find a better image host than imgur...

Just a few tips.
-You cannot use a PNG on the lock screen it looks terrible.
-When adding the PNG to your regular screens choose the color you want first. As soon as you choose a different color you will have to choose the image again.
-PNGs are best wallpapers on Vita...fact.
 
So, SAO questions:

- Why am I refered to Kirito? Is it a standard thing?
- Being used to the straightforward combat of Soul Sacrifice, SAO combat is a bit confusing! Any tips?
 
Wonder how long I got to sit and stare at Dragon's Crown PS3..on the fence. I say this cause my wife most likely won't play it since she mentioned that she didn't like the art.
 
I wonder when I'll be able to get Neptunia, next month is busy as f*** to me, with Bayo, Smash, probably getting Hyrule Warriors too (I know that it came today, but no money), and Minecraft Vita.

I wish I could do more, but the whole computer dead on ram can't open photoshop anymore. I enjoy rendering and it's fun to stylize the Vita, so it was a good pass time. I miss it.

I think I have more Vita wall renders that I didn't post. I'll check to see.

I never posted one of my renders on GAF before, but:

One of my earlier works, which explains the mistakes and negligence on some areas lol. I think I have more Vita wall renders that I didn't post. I'll check to see.

You putting it into context sheds more light on it for me, so thank you for that. It was the first time listening to the show, probably the last time too.

It still doesn't excuse the whole 'oh people say it's bad, I tried it for an hour, and I can already tell everyone is right' comment on Destiny, or the idiotic laughter that ensued after Drive Club was brought up.

It's probably time for that crew to take a break from gaming or podcasts for a while.

I have all 10 pages used... it flips really fast. You only need to do quick short gestures so I fly from top to bottom in a heartbeat.

I only mention that because I remember someone who thought you needed to completely 'peel' the lock screen from corner to corner and complained it dirtied their screen... when really all you need to do is a tiny flick of the corner and it 'throws' it open.

I really want Frozen Synapse and am one of the people on the fence due to price. I am trying to force myself to buy it, it's just hard because I blew so much money on the flash sale (over $40) so spending another $20 is actually difficult right now. But I've wanted it since it was announced, and I am the target audience, and I know it's great because I own it on steam (full price).

Same, it's about $5 too much and the new art style reminds me too much of that Bomberman rebranding.

Yea I can't really recommend it as a good podcast, it is pretty much the last podcast I listen to each week if I get through everything else, since I listen whenever driving or at the gym. I would drop it too if I found something better. Can't really blame you for not sticking with it.

Kinda sucks though, I have yet to find a gaming podcast that doesn't have large amounts of opinions formed without being fully educated on the topic first. I don't mind when you have a different opinion, but listening to someone talk bad about something or describe something with clearly wrong information as the basis bothers me.

Too many anime wall on Vita than I thought, though. I guess that describe pretty well the majority of Vita audience. Still, the little amount of Danganronpa background surprises me a bit, but then I remember seeing an asshole put a whole spoiler scene as his first Vita screen.
 
Oh good god why did I do it. I just saw a youtube video of Plutia's english dub voice. Man am I glad I played this game in japanese, my absolute favorite voice became unbearable in the english dub.
 
I must have the most boring Vita homescreens

I just use a Black Wallpaper for all. lol

only the loockscreen - I use a shot from inFamous SS
 
Every time I try to use custom wall papers I hate it. I think because of the fade between page changes.

Yet, I also hate looking at plain ol' regular screen all the time. I wish I could customize it much more. I have so much on my card that I resorted to alphabetical order for folders. It's soulless.

I have found that creative bubble placement for when you are out vs when you are at home can alleviate these issues with certain wallpapers!

the fade is super annoying. At least you can change up colors with the stock paper

I remember taking those Xenoblade wallpaper in Vita wallpaper thread. Those look pretty nice if you want to be "artsy" without much trouble.

Suspend/resume feature made me rarely showing my menu screen, though. It's not like I care about what other think.

In my case I think it is funny, because I feel safer with my Vita than with my 3DS, since if something happens I won't lose all my games forever, I don't have Nintendo support where I live. Even though the Vita cost me more money, it would be less trouble than the 3DS.

As a vita-freak, podcast beyond is my most anticipated podcast of the week.

I get that it's not for everyone but it's a bit of fun and there's heaps of vita content every week.
