The Queen's gear seems to compare favorably to the Crucible and Vanguard gear from what I have seen, though YMMV. No idea about the Faction stuff... I'm not bothering with them yet.

Yeah, just visual. That said the only other things Motes seem to do are buy an exotic engram from Xur which can roll against you, so I was fine with buying a speaker item instead.

Try playing control and place yourself "right around the corner" from B flag. Wait for people to get into the control area and sneak attack. Thats what I do when I need to ensure I don't die a lot.

I got my 25:1 K/D ratio for my other bounty doing that in 3 games.
And got my 10,000 points for my other bounty in about 3 or 4 games.

Yeah, usually that works but the problem is the game is matching me against people who are just good enough where that's not working all that often. Also I finally dropped out of Control because it kept giving me the huge and awful Mars and Moon maps. Also yeah those other two bounties are super easy, the 10k one probably took me a few more games than that, but that one is just a time one and the 25 spread one is doable even if you're super bad. I'm just running around getting my last Scout Rifle headshot kills and will try to rope in 2 of my friends to boost me on the void one later.

the change in RoF does take some getting used to, but the accuracy and stability make it worth it IMO. it's also noticeably more powerful and precise in crucible, overpowering almost everything else at range even if you don't have the first few shots.

Honestly, when I tried it in PVP without the upgrade I didn't like it all that much so I feel like I'd be okay with the slower RoF as long as it's got great stability.
