Atelier is really tame outside of some panty shots and a few events in the games, it's more cute than perverted. They even toned it down in the Dusk games, which are simply adorable games. I need Escha on Vita!

Still waiting for that Monster Monpiece sale, so I can't comment, but I believe it's aiming toward guys, since what you describe really sounds like Pretty cure/Nanoha/Sailor Moon, and ironically, those show have high rate of guy viewers. I'm also guilty of this, but I have no shame ;p.

Imo being appreciated by boys doesn't exclude that one thing is aimed to girls, i saw some Sailor Moon episodes and i have even appreciated them(i was addicted to cartoons/anime + i was/am really curious + open minded + i have a sister), i can even agree if someone says that the authors may have adjusted some things to appeal to a wider public, but i would never even think that Sailor Moon was not made with girls in mind.

I too tried and can't figure out how to work with it on my phone. Following the link just shows me a static image of the document that I can't edit at all.

Depending on device - on android you need google drive from the play store to edit documents.

That's disappointing to hear. I'm maybe ~20 hours in myself, and I was impressed by their handing of him so far. I was even thinking of asking around these parts if others felt the same. I knew there were some gay guys on the forum, and I was interested to see how they felt about it. I guess that's a moot point now if they screw him up later on.

I always just assumed he was a bisexual guy who was into Naoto when he thought she was a dude, but was still into her (though less embarrassed about it) when he figured out she wasn't.

I agree though, the anime makes a joke of it and it's kind of sad.

The game (and mainly Yosuke) kinda jokes about it too. Maybe in the animation it was more exagerated. I dunno, I didn't watch the whole thing.

For what I know, homosexuality is a weirder thing in Japan than in the West. I'd say that, at least here in Spain, it's seen as a normal thing by most young people (there are always exceptions).

I wouldn't care if they made a gay character or even a guy couple if done well. By done well I mean normal character development while talking about posible issues that are common among them.

This summer I watched the Teen Wolf series with my parents and I think the theme was treated quite well. Both same and different sex relationships were treated in the same way. I've watched some chapters of Modern Family (not the whole series, like a bunch of chapter from seasons 1-3) and I don't remember the gay couple kissing, for example.

And sure I tend to play whatever is out at the time, and I play mostly single player games, but I'd say Destiny is my go to MP game these days. With the patch rolling in this week, I'm even more likely to play it more.

Of course we do. I don't know about Japan, but I doubt it's any different. Always depend on the individual though. At least I don't think fan service with female characters necessarily makes a game aimed at guys (only). Stuff like that can still be cute and funny for girls and completely fine in a game aimed at girls. I haven't played Monster Monpiece nor the Atelier games (yet) so I don't know about that. Are you redeeming it on your EU account? You need a US account to redeem US codes.

Looking at the amazon customer reviews it seems like they are sending out broken codes. You should contact them.

As for PS+, what games do you guys expect to be coming for October? I mean, the PS4 tittles are almost expected (Splunky and DriveClub + ? Game) but for PS3 and Vita....we really have no idea what to expect :l.

My guesses for PS3 and Vita would be the following:
PS3: MGR (didn't come to US PS+)/Twisted Metal (didn't come to EU PS+), Sonic Racing Transformed PS3 or Ratchet FFA (could count as a dual PS3/Vita game ......thought the Vita port is horrid X().
Vita: Dragnarompa (as the second one came out recently and it would be a great way to draw people into the series ), Batman Blackgate or Injustice Vita (both had steep sales not to long ago and Sony loves to put sale games on Plus).
