Holy shit we almost died, but by accident we found a place to cheese the final boss where no adds can touch you and the boss can't even hit you.

I couldn't save the video... but will try to explain it.

Look near one of the ramps there is a little gap next to it and the floor. Hiding there makes the boss come to you, but he can't hit you since he is designed to use the minigun when close to you... not the rockets.

We were almost dead but we fell in and cheesed our ways to victory. The cheddar is real

I'm on it, and looking at all the possible upgrades, I don't think it can keep up with Plan C's range and speed. I 1 shot snipe people with the C.. pretty much complete fusion rifle spree bounty in one match with it.

Different use cases... you'll understand when you unlock it.

Guys what are you doing with your Motes of Light? So far I've identified 4 options:

• Use them on a Legendary Class Item from the Speaker
• Use them on a Legendary and allegedly luck-boosting Emblem from the Speaker
• Use them to gamble on an Exotic Engram from Xur
• Save them for whatever the hell the Trials of Osiris end up being

I already have a fully-leveled Exotic helmet so I'm not interested in further Exotic armor unless it drops randomly. I'd be wary of spending a hard-to-get currency on an emblem whose worth has yet to be proven.

Is it a waste to get a Class item? Some of them look hot.

I think Bungie has spoken out saying it's bullshit and they have no effect.

Update: We have off the record Bungie confirmation that emblems do not have any hidden buffs or bonuses of any kind.

Also you guys were right about the arc damage.

My blue Arc Fusion Rifle was doing 2000 damage each hit on the boss. It was insane lol.

Heh, that's exactly what I got when I hit rank 4 today. After getting a legendary weapon for hitting rank 3, this was a mildly disappointing reward.

Gonna start leveling more factions now I think.

There is an audio and visual que. People dodge them all the time. Plus they are slow. Like i said before 1 weapon doesnt mean you nerf the whole class of guns. If fusions were unstoppable you wouldnt see evrryone running around with ARs and shotguns in pvp.

How to beat fusion rifles. Move left to right. Dont charge right at them, use cover, jump when anticipating a burst, dont panic.

Basically, its a series of crates that are on the right hand corner of the room. Once you fall in, the boss will come after you, but he can't hit you when he's on the ledge above you.

We stumbled upon it by accident, but if this was already a known spot, then there should be videos around that explain it better than us.

Yeah, I said screw it and picked up that bond because i had 30 motes saved up and already had an exotic helm so no point in buying a helm armor exotic engram from xur, given the randomness of what you will get. That bond is pretty dope never knew it changed color until randomly it was purple. What sold me was the quote it had which was pretty awesome "Before grace, subsistence. Before nobility, survival ".

TBH I hate both. I'd rather play some sort of Team SWAT style variant. :-(

Is there any point in leveling up this far, other than the chance at getting something each time you increase in level? I'm almost to 3 and am looking forward to legendary weapon access, but I'm wondering if there's any incentive to keep on hitting those bounties.

That kill took a hell of a lot of skill.

Fusion rifles are unbalanced spartan lasers. Spartan lasers were actually balanced. They had long charge times, blocked a huge portion of your screen, had 4 shots, and had to be picked up as a power weapon.
