For the uninitiated AFL = Australian Rules Football
NRL = National Ruby League
Depending on which state you're from in Australia you probably follow one or the other.
Coming from Perth I prefer AFL but I hate Collingwood. I hope they both lose.

honestly if you are dead set on showing us the sounds i'd recommend turning down the bass a lot on your setup if possible, would reduce a lot of the distortion coming through.

Would be nice if they actually had some Australian cars in DC, especially now as the manufacturers are pulling out of the country. If they included Holden vs. Ford races they'd capture almost the whole Australian market. Hopefully they'll do a muscle car or touring car DLC and add some Oz cars in. I was really excited when Bathurst made it to GT6 but Kaz screwed it up by not having the right cars for the track. Maybe Evolution can get it right.

And with these I hope to seal any doubt of how kickass this game is. Non-muted music would have been a blessing as it REALLY enhances the experience but oh well...

Thanks for the poster compliment, I was stoked when I got it plaqued but recently I started to hate the kerning and overall layout of the lettering. They goofed it.
I need better wall art in general, heh.

How are you liking the AI so far? It seems like they drive around as a very tight pack at higher difficulties. But is there any merit to the rubber banding claims? Any similar experiences so far where you felt like it cheated?

I doubt the rubber banding will much of an issue in a game this technical. In Motorstorm the tracks are either highly irregular or falling apart, so any attempt the AI makes to catch up seems outrageously cheap. In DC they're just tough. Like, they're good and precise in a way that seems fair, if that makes sense.
They DO fuck up, as you've seen which is the cool part. They're definitely not dumb either. They'll overtake me easily if I try to block them, they snap back if I shove them.
I'm playing on Semi-Pro which is medium-hard lol

Yeah. Glad you caught that. I was super thrown off by it, kept wondering what it was but it's just the street lights passing by.

I think it's cracks in the glass that are catching the light. I've Seen the same effect on the side window.

Nah that's a pretty long crack on both sides then. I don't see cracks at all. They probably have a separate effect for that as well
