Just wacthed some videos on Gamersyde. I can't deny its looking pretty good (but not as good as the last screenshots that probably were really downsampled) but its gameplay seems very arcadey indeed. I thought FH2 was more arcadey, but I changed my mind watching it... its gameplay reminds me a bit of Ridge Racer honestly.

Try the PS plus version.
Great sound engine. But the sense of speed is the real star here. We are almost in Wipeout territory... O O

I think once weather hits they show have a Real Weather mode where you can free drive in the country and the game uses the weather of that day to create the atmosphere. The time, the cloud cover, or what other weather conditions are going on. If it is full moon at night you should get that realistic moon lit night going on.

I just watched the gamersyde videos on my PS4 and I gotta say, I'm not worried about the IQ issues at all anymore. There are so many flaws when you scrutinize it on a PC but it's almost completely indiscernible on a TV. If they manage to improve it further, great, but if not, I have no qualms.

Trying out the FH2 definitely reinforced my choice of DC. The game seems lacking, like something is missing. I played FH on my 360, and they are both very comparable. I don't know if that's a hats off to the developers or a frown on the XB1.
Let's keep the focus on Driveclub in here.
They need to get this game on kiosks ASAP as a showcase, really show off the sense of speed and the feel. I'm hoping the psplus edition can really sell a lot of people on the game. Buzz seems to really be building so hopefully it performs well, EVO needs it after the recent run they've had.
