I'm thinking Friday or Saturday. Probably Friday. Afrocious won't be on tomorrow and I'm either gonna use the day to upgrade my weapons or finally play Shadow of Mordor.

right, so paying it a 2nd time on normal well get you absolutely nothing

I played it a 2nd time and got nothing from the chests, but just clarifying if there's still a chance to get drops from the bosses?
 
Rahool may not give me any more purples in the mail but most of my blues are motes and coins, so at least hes much less of a cunt now.

According to Reddit, you can get all the loot (double drops at each encounter and chest) if you just do Hard mode first. No need to do normal mode at all.

Have not tried this personally, but sounds like it has been verified.

You get noting if you are doing it for a 2nd time.

No. You can only get drops (chests and phases) once a week.
 
If I've completed the Raid in Normal this week, can I do it again in Hard and still get the rewards? Eg end of mission loot, and loot from the Gorgon Maze chests?

You will get the following raid loot drops ONE TIME ONLY each week:

Normal:

1.) First chest
2.) Beat oracle encounter
3.) Beat Templar boss
4.) Left side Gorgon maze chest
5.) RIght side Gorgon maze chest
6.) Beat "Awaken the Gates"/Gate Keepers encounter
7.) Beat Atheon final boss

Hard:

1.) Beat oracle encounter
2.) Beat Templar boss
3.) Left side Gorgon maze chest
4.) Beat "Awaken the Gates"/Gate Keepers encounter
5.) Beat Atheon final boss

Alternatively you can do the Hard mode first and supposedly get all the loot drops (chests and encounters) in one go. Please let me know if I made any mistakes but I think that is everything...

Are you sure? We did the beginning of the Hard Raid after completing Normal, and got nothing from the first chest, where as in Normal it gave us Energy/Shards.

Amazing. Thanks dude. Do you think a bunch of level 28's can do it? Or is it a level 29 or above only affair?

No 28s. Everyone should be at least 29, and the more 30's the better.

I beat Hard last week with 1 30 and 5 29's and it was still really tough.

Had two 30's this week and was still really hard but noticeably better.

I see. Is that even with cheesing the final boss (middle platform with Relic and Titan Bubble damage buff)?
 
How are sunsingers during early levels? Don't know much about radiance how useful is it in PvP?



I have a complete set of warlock legendary gear sitting in my vault. Need to start working on it asap, self res is the best pve super in the game.

That strat is not at all "cheesing" the boss. It uses existing mechanics as intended. Cheesing is doing stuff like hiding in a hole in the map and pot shotting.

Yeah we used that strat, but Atheon is honestly one of the easiest Hard encounters. It only took us barely 3 portal rounds this week, it's basically the same as Normal.

I think Gate Keepers encounter is probably the hardest. The early "defend the conflux" encounter is also a lot tougher.

Oracles and Templar can be chessed pretty easily.

Yeah, I agree. It takes perfect execution with 0 downs (except for scummy self-res'ing Warlocks, haha).

Templar boss strat out on the side islands is pretty cheesy. Oracles strat is only a mild cheddar.

it's definitely worth it. If you 3 tap it starting at someones chest you'll be in the head zone for criticals for at least another 3 shots. I've been cleaning up whenever I go in. A lot of people will go to stand toe to toe and you can just see the point where they assume you'll be out of ammo and attempt to move in for a kill and you've still got 5 shots left in the drum.

the explosive ammo perk i've decided is actually wonderful - especially for when you are up against higher numbers of less experienced players. The explosive effect is absolutely a concentration breaker especially when you ding head shots. The shake + the explosive effect + the rate of fire out of pistol makes it so you can practically blind someone if your aim is good. Had it done to me once when I was on the fence and I immediately went into my inventory and switched it over. 11 shots is still plenty and hitting the wall next to someone to finish them off when they are trying to hide or head glitch is a thing of beauty.

Anyone available to help me with weekly strikes and daily story mission? I'm not good enough to solo the weekly strikes yet (no exotic weapons) or level 24-28 story mission.

I was told you get a legendary for ranking up faction levels, etc

I just went up a level and got no legendary..?, am I missing something?
 
Finished nightfall. Both other guys on my team got Legendary weapons. I Got 8 Ass energies

Just got the exotic bounty for the shotgun :D Tried to beat the nightfall in a 3 man group tonight, was not going so hot :( anyone want to try it with me tomorrow around 5:45pm central?

Only at rank 3. And I got 1 ass shard and 1 mote of light for hitting Vanguard rank 3 so it's still RNG.

With the poison damage thing Thorn isn't as bad, but 6 bullets and a terrible reload speed make me not like it so much. The poison damage should at least stack once or twice or something. I can kill things way quicker with a rare auto rifle.

First exotic weapon and it's incredibly disappointing.
