Even if you get a legendary engram from a strike, the odds of it being a directly usable item are less than 50%. save up and buy the gear you actually want.

Still can't believe how lucky that raid group was last night. I've never seen the Templar fail to enter enrage.
Also forgot to mention. Pocket Infinitied Pocket Infinity is quite amusing in rumble. I even let a few players fire off their fusions rifles first on purpose. It's hard not to laugh when Pocket Infinity returns overwhelming irresponsible levels of fire.

That's a good way of putting it, lol. I can almost see the sad faces when the first shot of theirs isn't a kill.

exploding bodies on kill is nothing more the. visual, it's half the splash range of a regular nade and delayed by half a second, exploding rounds are probably better.

That's unfortunate, I really didn't like exploding rounds at all.

Normal raid won't matter a ton, should be very do-able either way but Lv 29 will be noticeably easier.

Hard raid is a huge difference between 28-29-30.

You don't die as quick.

I personally wouldn't go into Hard Mode as a level 28 without a 30 to offset the fragility.

EDIT: Woah I didn't read your post. My mind is stuck on the heroic after that hell.

A 28 is great for the normal mode. Enemies don't go past 27 so you'll be golden. If the highest leveled person is using the relic, then that's even better.

Thanks for the heads up. Currently level 28 just trying to score a competent Sniper Rifle to finally jump in.

I was also thinking about fully upgrading my current gear to level 29 from 28, since it seems like Ass Shards are showing up pretty consistently after this latest patch. If you guys ever need someone, let me know. Not sure if I have you on PSN.

I have no idea actually. I had already got my armour 100% unlocked just hadn't bought every bit due to not having enough shards. I don't see why it wouldn't though.

I have 2 ( no SUROS) and I am leveling hard light.

Monte carlo IDK. it has potential. I like the skip rounds on the hard light though. It has low impact, but I swear I am not crazy the bullet magnetism is higher on this gun than any other. I just spray and get lots of crits. It seems more useful in flood situations more of a short medium range AR than say the shadow price (mine has increased range when ADS, killer for long range boss battles)... The hard light fails at long range due to bullet bloom. Stability increase might make it better.

my setup for "hard" stuff is fully upgraded shadow price + ice breaker.

Using hard light as more of a patrol/mess around/tower show off gun until I get it fully leveled.

I'm telling ya they nerfed em hard.Like I've said before on average I would see one drop for the team at a rate of near 1 a game this past weekend. It ain't even close to that now. Probably ran 20 or so since patch and I've seen one drop in all those groups.

In reality we got nerfs on shards and drop rates in exchange for blues and legendarys actually being that.

Not liking this trade off at all.

I think there wasn't any trade off. Instead of having purples that could go blue, we now have fewer purples which always decrypt into legendary.

Assuming they were rational, net probability of getting legendary gear should be the same as before except now you don't get "tease" purples.

Yeah, a prompt to confirm before sharding legendaries or exotics probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I haven't done it yet, but I get a little scared I'm going to sometimes when I go to disassemble something.

You will get the following raid loot drops ONE TIME ONLY each week:

Normal:

1.) First chest
2.) Beat oracle encounter
3.) Beat Templar boss
4.) Left side Gorgon maze chest
5.) RIght side Gorgon maze chest
6.) Beat "Awaken the Gates"/Gate Keepers encounter
7.) Beat Atheon final boss

Hard:

1.) Beat oracle encounter
2.) Beat Templar boss
3.) Left side Gorgon maze chest
4.) Beat "Awaken the Gates"/Gate Keepers encounter
5.) Beat Atheon final boss

Alternatively you can do the Hard mode first and supposedly get all the loot drops (chests and encounters) in one go. Please let me know if I made any mistakes but I think that is everything...

Currently leveling a Titan. Up to 14 almost at 15. Only one piece of legendary gear waiting for him though. I might actually buy the Titan exotic from Xur this weekend depending on what's available for Hunter....

Once at 26 though I'd be down to join a regular raid group for alts. No one in my normal group is leveling an alt yet and I dont think they care too.

I have the pocket infinity bounty too, I had it for a while, but it took a while to gather all the fusion rifles(dismantled all of my blue ones lol, let's hope I can find a purple replacement for every element). The next part which is kill 200 dudes in the nightfall is even worse because 50 procent of the dudes in the nightfall are phalanx dudes and they don't flinch. I should have done it last week when I could have just shot dregs . My brain lapsed into a coma so hard while I was grinding it out 3 kills or so at a time, I ended up just throwing the controller down and collapsing into my bed to sleep it out for a while.

I find that explode on precision death mod isn't necessarily useful for the damage, but all the other enemies caught in the blast will stumble as if hit by a high impact shot, setting up more precision kills.

Don't quote me on this but both, it rolls the normal and the heroic right after eachother. You'll get ass shards both times though, trust me

Nice!! I want that one sooooo bad. I have gotten the set with thorn, bad juju and invective twice. I got the bad juju because the strangers rifle taught me the power of the pulse rifle but I dropped the second set. The PVP requirement for thorn was ridiculous for me and I don't like shottys so the invective was not interesting to me.

I am going to continue to turn in 5 bounties at a time until I get that memory fragment bounty!

I'm almost positive that each raid has independent loot tables, and that when you do heroic before normal you get rolls from each of the loot tables independently.

Just take it a day at a time. That's what I did last week.

I've never turned in 5 bounties at a time and i've gotten 6 exotic bounties.

As soon as you enter, turn around and go a different way, look for another area with level 28 mobs and kill them.
