I am kind of upset the heroic raid is basically the same as normal except harder without battle rezzing and having enemies scaled to level 30. I would've liked to keep the battle rezzes, or make them less available as they are when you have to wait 30 seconds for a revive. I kind of expected the mechanics to be different. Examples of higher difficulties in raids I've played involve roles to be switched regularly or dodging new attacks that can one-shot.

I know the 30 sec revive timer is absent, but do the sunbro revives work on hard?

sunbro revives work just fine on hard . Never use my super on hard untill I die. Survival mode is engaged until the super is up.

Thanks. I figured it out. Currently I'm just 4 lights away from lvl 29 and the last two upgrades on my helm would give me those 4 lights. I think I probably will just do it. I know I will eventually replace it with raid gear, but it's only 12 ass shards. Not a big deal.

One Raid run will give these 12 shards back

I messed the times... I thought it ended on Sunday to Monday and not Saturday to Sunday... I was tired and needed one more Mote to buy that Engram and decided to sleep and get the last Mote in the next day. I did that and got the last Mote is less than 10 minutes and go buy it... Xur was gone .

I never used my Motes again because I had the Sunbreakers and the last week... so almost three weeks increasing the Motes

Boy. I finally got to use the full auto Pocket Infinity on the lvl24 daily just now. Wow! I might have to make this my second favorite weapon. A clip drops a lvl24 minotaur, but it does it in like a second or two. Awesomesauce. I think the stability node might be necessary, eventhough I love the larger clip. I want to see this thing in PvP. I just realized that if I wanted to go Strength & Discipline like Dead Orbit I can get those stats from the Vanguard of Crucible handlers which I already have at Rank 3, hmmm.

I guess I'll have to see if the passive bonuses offer much difference between them.

You don't have a purely offensive super... So you're not going to do as much damage as the other classes and specs.

All materials can be farm really fast with additional rewards like glimmers and even blue/purple engrams. Just do the Mars farming run outlined in these videos. It's posted in the OP.

Haha I know, but think about it: the fight is the same as it is in normal. We just cheesed it in heroic because fuck being swarmed by level 30 enemies while being sniped.

If we were all level 30, we probably could've stayed on the ground and did it the regular way.

For the radar, if you don't have a helmet that adds it. The damage is important though. I'm upgrading all my exotics and legendary weapons. At least the ones that aren't dupes. That way all 3 of my characters can be fully kitted and ready to raid. My Titan is probably going to jump straight to lvl 26 or so by the time I get him to 20. My Hunter went from straight from 20 to 24 that way. PEACE.

That's my question too... its the only exotic I've ever gotten and have been using it extensively so its pretty much fully upgraded experience wise I just haven't dropped any ass material into it yet and I am wondering if I should or if I should hold off until I get a new, better exotic wep... or upgrade The Comedian which I just got last night

Defenders can also yield Weapons of Light, arguably the best PvE buff in the game, though of course it can apply to the whole party. Most kills on the end screen will be completely unrelated to super use for all characters.

I actually sent you a message about joining and figured you had a good group since I didn't hear back, I totally would have joined you! I was just doing Queen missions to get a chest and helmet for a potential second character at that point.

Oh man, I almost forgot that we were doing that last night. I think I told the cheese spot I wanted no part of it so I could take my Shadow Price for a ride.

Also, just farmed relic irons during lunch. Got 33 of them in about 45 mins. Not bad at all in my opinion.

I need 8 shards to hit level 28. I'd like to do that before we hit the raid. Gonna be close depending on when we do it. Are you in for the daily mission on level 28 and a public event or 5 this evening? I want dem shards.

Got caught doing a PE solo on Mars earlier. It was a "kill this target" PE. I unloaded EVERYTHING I had on him. I couldn't bring him down in the allotted time. So annoying. If I had one more person, it would have been a breeze.

Keep in mind, though, that once you get that character to 30, it will be kind of a waste to have multiple of the same class. And also keep in mind that there's really not much point to race to 30 since there's nothing to really do there and wont' be for a few months.
