Also, that second video shows that the okizeme is the same as in Tekken Revolution. Backrolls no longer allow relaunches.

King super....I'm cryin

Edit - Whoa King did AK f2,1

Kazuya Super

Hm... not a fan of cinematic, super-type moves. Messes up the flow of the match.

At least there's no meter management, and Kazuya's looks to be not much longer than your average grapple. Hopefully they're all that tight.

I'm generally with you, but the cinematics in this look relatively brief. It's SF4 length Supers I hate.

The sparks will definitely take getting use to (wouldn't mind them being toned down a little). I can't wait to see everyone's supers in hd.

Looks great overall from what little I can tell. Based Unreal Engine. The particle system is a lot of fun to mess with, can't blame them if they got carried away with it lol.

I'm guessing it won't be that insane in the final release.

a lot of non-playable characters showed up in the T7 merchandise:

Jin
Devil Jin
Armor King
Christie (but not Eddy?)
Nina
Anna
Ganryu
Jack(-7?)
Yoshimitsu
Mokujin
Kuma
Panda
Raven
Roger Jr.
Lee
What merch are you talking about? That chibi sticker sheet?

I'm laughing my ass off at everyone that was in pure denial about Tekken Revolution influencing the mechanics of future Tekken games.

I'm really digging the lowered overall damage, the slow down effect on KOs, the sparks, the camera being panned back like in the pre-Tekken 6 days, and the loss of backroll floats.

Yeah I had to come around when I saw that thing werent that bad..

Shiiii....that looks like Hwoarang style.

Looks like an Alisa attack and then a Hworang attack

Judging by the animations, input for that combo was

uf4,4 !B ; 4444

Basically only one direction input needed and then press circle button 6 times lol

Katarina definitely seems to be the multiple string attack character on one button like Namco said lol

I knew you would be happy with the new Tekken 7 coming off as a big fan of Tekken Revolution.

They're adding supers? Ugh, please no. That just feels completely against the non-stop flow of a Tekken match :/

I don't think it'll really affect the flow since you can only do it in rage and you only get rage at the very end of the match when you're about to die.

Combos are much shorter than TTT2 and the super animations look pretty short as well, so if anything the pace will be better.

Sparks would be alright if they toned em down a bit, they cover too much real estate. Loving the overall scale and spacing I'm seeing so far. BDc looks to be a bit more shallow? I'm ok with that. Like what Im seeing so far.

Edit:

I like the new system. I'm fine with no bounce (if it's there at all?)
The characters look great
The flow is good

I don't see that many new changes. Playing Tekken Revolution has made it easier to adjust to no bounce.

I doubt they'd add supers unless it's a special ending attack.

Technically Bound doesn't exist anymore.

I like the short combos I'm seeing. Takes me back to those T5 days. Man. Those sparks are hella cool but could a little tone down. I need to see more supers!

Nonstop flow? I dunno, man. Those long ass juggles in Tekken 6 and Tag 2 were very much flow stopping in my opinion.
That is still flow. A player dominating with a barrage of attacks is still in the flow. Doing a single input command for both players to sit and watch a long sequence breaks the flow. I like how Tekken coresponds each attack to an input. Even long King throws require a ton of inputs to complete.

I don't want some super input to turn into some "ATATATATATATATATA!!!!" finisher.

I want to strangle each and every person talking about toning down the sparks. After a time, you won't even realize they're there.

Harada, don't listen to them!

That's what I was going to say. I can't stand a lot of super-heavy fighters where they do some #Swicked #GetRekt nine-thousand-jillion hit combo, through a super. It's like kicking 20 goals in a match, but they were all penalty kicks and the goalie was blindfolded and tied up and dead.
