Yeah, you can get legendary boots and gloves in one trip if you have enough marks/rank. They are equally good so pick the ones you want. Choose either Crucible or Vanguard to focus on getting to rank 2 first.

From 23-24 you are in a good spot to do the Queen's missions and pick up a legendary helm and chest.

Sooo I got a Doctor Nope in an engram last night. I haven't had any decent auto rifles yet, so I can't be sure, but this is crap right?

I tried it and it basically unleashes a blizzard of bullets in the general direction it's pointing. And if anything is close enough to hit more than twice, it takes most of a clip to have any effect. I'm guessing it's not worth leveling up.

Levelled my Cryptarch and scored another engram. Chest. Needed shards desperately.

Just use it and upgrade it, aside from maybe putting in the ascendant energies. See how you like it and then decide. Might be a loooooong time before the game decides to give you an Icebreaker.

Give P&T to your non Hunter alt. Hold out for Ice Breaker for your main.

P&T is pretty situational, and as you've noted a bit redundant for Hunters. Ice Breaker is the better choice in PvE basically 100% of the time

edit: Indeed, give it to a non-hunter alt I say. they'll get much more use from it

P&T is pretty good at getting two shots off in PVP and having your radar up is nice. But as my first exotic it was pretty underwhelming. It's my best sniper, and I still haven't leveled up the active camo upgrade. It's a really slow upgrade process but I haven't been focusing on it.

Thanks for the replies. Currently I don't have enough time for an alt, but I'm going to keep it for my main (and upgrade it). It's a great replacement for my now-dismantled rare sniper.

actually if you are just farming works great if you are used to controlling recoil i have one. its a situational rifle really. also dont use it against shielded enemies

FiOS has been amazing. I've heard so many bad things about TWC in NYC that it's definitely a requirement when looking for my next apartment that it's not TWC.


I would like this game to bestow upon me:
- Legendary Hand Cannon or a bounty for one of the exotics
- Legendary LMG. I'm sick of my rare (what is this bullshit!) rocket launcher and rocket launchers in general.
- I am happy with my Scout, but some sort of amazing exotic scout/pulse rifle would make me switch out my invective and go back to my light/beware fusion rifle.

I don't see a stability upgrade on mine. Here's my inventory. All I see is range finder (which seems like a moot point given the kick this thing has) and life support, which is pretty pointless as I generally like to keep more than a few percent of my health lol

Played my first game against someone with a fully upgraded Universal Remote. Yikes.

I thought the complaints about balance in PvP being borked were completely overblown before that. It didn't help that he was also slightly laggy, causing a decent amount of unregistered hits.

My Thunderlord/Arc Blade took them down pretty fast. Can't remember, but I'm sure everything has arc shields including the psions.

Can't believe I forgot to post this stuff. Thank you guys all for the responses! This was 26 picks of 3 items for a total of 78 items reflected.

16 items accounted for 47 of the picks; 31 items were only chosen once.

Of the 26 respondents, no two selected the exact same three items.

Most popular item chosen is a tie, SUROS Regime and Ice Breaker. Not shocked! Runner-ups: Gjallarhorn and Knucklehead Radar (woo).

The most popular item type chosen was the Auto Rifle, Snipers a close second, followed by Helms (which makes sense, as many wisely chose a helm as their first exotic armor piece).

2/3 of the selections were Exotics.

you really should not be hip firing in the first place when the PR needs rounds on target to kill things.

Go for headshots always. Only hipfire when they're pretty close.
Pulse/Scout are so much better for picking off enemies at longer-mid distances than the AR. It takes some getting used to. Now I play like shit when I use an AR because I'm not used to it.

the raid dropped 3 weapons for me this week so i can't really complain, but i also want to finish it and hope for the sniper. praedyth's revenge is the only weapon i wanted from the raid and it's given me everything else, lol.

Fatebringer is amazing though. 2sk in crucible with headshots, and those upgrades...

I think the biggest thing we did was ensure two people always were on the adds in the portal, with both non-relic users throwing grenades (one had a flash grenade) before going to help the one person on the oracles.

Outside is easy. One person stood on top of the portal (harpys can't hit you there except for lazers). We put the shield of light in the back for weapons of light and the relic in the front right. NO ONE can bump the relic user even a tiny bit. If the relic user moves, you get splashed.

At four seconds, the titan throws another shield on the relic to let people escape and the people staying outside scatter to the side of the portal you previously opened.

Fusion grenades are the name of the game for sunsingers or other classes with them. 8k+ per stick.

we got it in four portal trips.

I leveled it to the stability upgrade and it makes a world of difference. It is my only legendary AR so I am keeping and leveling it for Iron Banner until I get an exotic. Time to kill seems slow without head shots in the crucible but having that many bullets literally lets you outshoot people ammowise. They are either stuck reloading or switching weapons.

You can easily drop three guys at a control point with head shots without reloading after the stability upgrade.

Damn, thanks for the tips. We already had some of that down, but never tried sitting on top of a portal etc. Didn't know about bumping the relic holder either. It all makes sense now.

It should be like the fourth column on the right in the top row, in the same column mine has an option for increased agility also. It is not a type of sight, only one of the sights on mine produces a tangible benefit.

If for some reason you don't have a stability upgrade it probably should be trashed from my experience. If it does it is definitley viable.
