As soon as the relic team inside the portals kills the last oracle, a message will pop up above your super bar that says "guardians make their own path".

At this time the entire team has a buff for 30 seconds. You do MASSIVE damage to Atheon and have unlimited super and grenades.

It usually takes the relic team about five seconds to get back through the portal and into position. This should be when the outside team mops up the supplicants so they don't one shot the relic team when they come back through the portal.

GG is good for this, but void bomb is WONDERFUL for this. Having a lock or two on the outside is monster.

That's great to know if I ever mess up and miss the teleport. I've always been an Oracle shooter, so I've pretty much just popped out of the portal, jumped to the center and started sniping/rocketing.

Are Legendary Engrams still in the game or what?

Didn't see a single one since the first day of the pc from the mailman wtf

Spirit Bloom was a pain to collect.
But I've now found myself broke.
What's the best way to gain glimmer fast again?
pick the race of your choice and pop a consumable. anything from clearing out the area with all the axis minotaurs on Venus (would also get you more spirit blooms), clearing cabal fireballs on Mars, or even we've woken the hiiiive on the moon. just don't forget to pop the consumable every ten minutes.

I thought the same until I got two from doing dailies, one from a cryptarch package (after four blue packs), and two random drop.

Eventually, you will see them. They do seem rarer now though, but I have to say that getting them from dailies is so worth the rarer drop rate since getting one is a guaranteed legendary now (or shards/energy).

I won't disagree with the whole of this, but I don't think 25 is an unreasonable number. A couple of tiger strikes, and dashing through the moon strike a couple of times got me 5. Then I got another 5 for helping out doing a weekly strike, and a nightfall. So I'm up to 10 in just a couple of days. I'll get another 5 on Tuesday for the weekly and nightfall which leaves me 10 between now and when Xur comes back on Friday. No excuse to grief people by going afk, it's just not that hard. The moon strike only takes 5-10 minutes tops.

I don't think it's too much either. I planned on farming strikes regardless, since they got buffed in the patch. I just think this is really predictable behavior. Everytime I see a grindy multiplayer accomplishment, I shake my head. I'm of the opinion that multiplayer achievements should be of the "try this mode" variety, or really brief tasks that are just designed to get the gamer to sample a mode. PEACE.

I hope there's another Suros up for grabs soon because once it's been upgraded to slow Fire rate while aimed it's so bad in PvP. Shame because I was owning with it. Now I can barely make a scratch. Might be fine in The Iron Banner but not for normal.

So, how do weapons work in regular Crucible?

My daughter is playing and there's this one dude with a world-ending shotgun running around one-shotting everyone, over and over. It's on a close quarters map and he just lurks around the corners. I thought weapons were normalized somehow in non Iron Banner play?

the only stats that don't matter in normal pvp are weapon attack and armor defense. everything else does.

I think armor is normalized. But weapons are not.

you gotta use radar and anticipate the corners with the shotgun / fusion rifles dudes. Every shotgun is a 1 hit KO close range, you don't need a crazy one. Although there are auto firing shotguns that are just definitely better.

I think the attack and defense stats are normalized, but weapon modifiers are still active, so if he has a shotgun with upgraded range and a tight spread, a one shot may be possible...especially if she is a fragile Hunter. Close quarters = shotties and fusion rifles, so fight fire with fire or play very conservatively.

Yesterday was a ridiculous Raid experience
I was helping out a crew, but holly shit the lag/glitches was such a sour thing to deal with

We put in 5+ hours just at the last boss
Something always fucked us

Don't run through the portal, you'll glitch
Don't Cleanse before using the portal back to VOG, you'll glitch
Sometimes the portal will glitch you and not port you, your stuck inside same area
The porting team who run back area of VOG only 2 members get ported
The Time of Vengeance timer skips a second or two
Bubble active yet people in the back die somehow while still being in the bubble
The green side Minotaur/Praetorian gets killed, yet his health refills back up halfway with full shield

Last night raid was the worst experience I ever had with a game, I get you can get frustrated with mechanics, but this fucking lag/glitches need to be fixed ASAP

upgraded SUROS borderline breaks PvP. 5 headshots or 8 body shots take down a player, leaving you room to kill 3-5 people per mag. The Vex Mythoclast is the only gun I've seen that's better, but SUROS still wins at range.

If you're using ADS with upgraded SUROS in CQB, well you're going to lose to the other ARs that are better in CQB. But the SUROS beats them everywhere else.

Yeah that was horrible.

Edit: I looked at the clock and I realized I had to get up soon. We should have been able to beat Atheon easily.

It's really good if you can land headshots.

Right now, the Tiger Strikes have better rewards than crucible. Been getting the most useless shit. Not even blue engrams.

No matter how much I love the game, it's very evident a lot of things weren't thought through to completion.

Tiger Strikes got me a ton of blues. Crucible is a bit more random so far. Got Purples there.

If you get headshots consistently with it, the upgrade makes it even better. It's all about aim.

Thinking about dismantling all my Titan gear (legendary and exotic). On the one hand, I'm not interested in this class at all. I'm going to make an Warlock alt at some point, but that's it. On the other hand.. dismantling exotics? Feels so wrong.

Yep hasn't changed since the game came out.

Sadly, yes.

yep, same shit since launch. she doesn't have a good distributor.

This is dumb.

Any shotgun will be a one-hit kill from close enough in the crucible, but they have different range, rates of fire, accuracy, etc.. "Attack" and "defense" from your level and upgrades are normalized, so that a brand new player and veteran player with maxed armor still die to that one hit, or kill in one hit, but the properties of the shotgun itself are retained. fusion rifles will also oneshot anyone with an accurate shot, regardless of the rifle or the armor, but stuff like the charge time, magazine size and reload time is based on the gun. the individual guns definitely make a big difference, but both a rare shotgun and invective can, undoubtedly, oneshot people.

the main thing based on what you said... you really have to watch the radar and anticipate shotgun campers around corners. the very close quarters maps make them part of the territory. they are annoying but counterable.

So just had my first taste of Raid goodness.

Me and four friends grouped up and just went for it. Had to cut our time short, but only reached The Templar anyway.

Bare in mind no one had done this before, and it's only me that has a vague idea of the mechanics, it was so much fun but so frustrating.

I can deal with people dying, or being over-whelmed, but people constantly dying because they fall off the map and people that don't listen are so frustrating! And that's my friends!!

I loved it though. I want more.

Grats! The Last Word is an awesome hand cannon.

I definitely like it, considering that I'm still using it. I just wish all of the great upgrades weren't for hip fire. The range isn't as horrible as I thought either. I was able to shoot those exploding harpies in the raid from across the other side of the room. But that's considering that in the upgrades I specifically chose the upgrade that gave it more range and impact, and in the second tree I gave it the one that increased stability.

Why on earth you destroying exotics, you do realize you can just put them in the Vault in the tower
Then your Warlock can use them once it hits 20...

I understand destroying the Titan gear for shards/energy, why the exotics?

Nothing frustrates me more then seeing people get Exotics and Legendaries while I am still stuck with a Rare Auto Rifle.

Nightfall, nothing.
Daily, nothing.
Vanguard Strikes, nothing.

... really need some friendly people who can run me through the VoG Chests ...

Unfortunately, I don't get shit. Bungie needs to normalize rewards in some fashion with the RNG. Getting random blue gauntlets is the most annoying crap. At least give materials of some kind.

I totally agree, but fortunately most of these can be dealt with. Some tips I've picked up, I'm sure others will be able to help as well.

Don't run through the portal, you'll glitch Don't run
Don't Cleanse before using the portal back to VOG, you'll glitch Don't cleanse - I'm pretty good at running most of the portal dark and can get out and to the center for cleansing with minimal non darkness.
Sometimes the portal will glitch you and not port you, your stuck inside same areaSucks, but just run back around (don't run through the back side)
The porting team who run back area of VOG only 2 members get portedGet the portal open and send some help through ASAP
The Time of Vengeance timer skips a second or twoHaven't seen that, but you still have a second or two after the timer is finished. Don't cut it so close?
Bubble active yet people in the back die somehow while still being in the bubbleRelic holder has to stay perfectly still...don't let people bump him.
The green side Minotaur/Praetorian gets killed, yet his health refills back up halfway with full shield Cross fingers and hope this doesn't happen?? No clue for this one.

The attack value does nothing as that lvl based for pve purposes. All other stats and unlocked abilities of a weapon count. So high end rare weapons and gear do have a distinct PvP advantage.
