Can anyone recommend me a Vita (2k) carrying case?
I've been wanting to like actually use it as a portable console.. but unlike my 3DS I can't just throw it in my bag, worried about this thing getting scratched.

Like you said, it'd end up locked. It'd only be locked because you're going against their rules on how platform threads are handled.

I will be getting the ps tv next month since that is when it comes out in Europe. I hope that helps my tv streaming solution.

Look what arrived today.
First off -- these photos don't do the beauty of this machine justice. Hot damn. If anyone's deciding between colors, this is definitely the one to go for. I can provide more pics on request for those on the fence. It's a radiant-yellow/highlighter-green.
I was concerned about the screen quality, but this does not disappoint. It's outstanding for an LCD. Also want to mention the ergonomics -- this is the most comfortable handheld gaming machine I've used since the OG GBA.
Going to order a 32 memory card in a bit. Maybe another set of screen protectors. (Ordered the pack of three screen protectors from IllumiShield, failed three times)
I want to see it any way you have it... Where did you order from?

Kinda want a 2000 now. I wonder if they'll release the pink one on NA. I don't want to buy a 2000 here in my place since the O and X are swapped. Kinda confusing if you're using an NA account. Still loving my 1000 though.

If you're a Vita owner, please do me a favor and check this thread about problems with the online "friends" scoreboards in certain games. Due to the timing of when the problems started, I believe it might be related to the firmware update that was released a few days ago.
Please let me know if you're having the same problem--or even if you've played some of those same games and are not experiencing a problem.

Well, If you buy a 2000 in our country, You can choose from the many colors available for Asia. The pink one is tempting me too, but I haven't seen one in the local game stores. Haven't checked Greenhills though.

Imo it's only a matter of time till PS4 gets ps1/ps2 classics. I'd have guessed this major firmware update (1 year anniversary-ish), but since it wasn't that I'd guess in the next 6 months.
Do we really need the 'no games' crap in here? Besides, there's no way to run out of games in 10 days... just going through the ps+ games would take longer than that. Resogun, Wolfenstein, Infamous, Shadow of Mordor.... c'mon. Heck, I spent more than 10 days on Crimsonland alone, Don't Starve alone, Resogun alone, etc.
I realize not everyone has the same tastes, but if you bought a console that doesn't have a single game you want that's on you, no reason to post ridiculous vitriol about your bad decision making -- all it does it make this thread as annoying as something like the current 'will vita get a price drop' thread in regards to the 'no games'/'dead'/blahblah stuff.

The seller is Kawaii & Cool Stuff and they have a 100% positive rating (which in itself seems suspicious).
Should I believe this?

The 2000 is a thing of beauty compared to the 1000. I really want the light blue model one of these days.

I think that's what 32gb cards have been going for recently.
And I got my 64gb card from this import site based on recommendations on Gaf and CAG. It arrived about a week later, no complaints.

I miss the vita massive OT threads, and I miss the monthly vita threads, I miss the wrestlers in the Playstation store threads.

While I have a vague idea, since the Playstation family doesn't consist of PS users only and third parties are going strong inside the whole PS branches that the taste and type of games got released are wide in range of taste, I'm curious about what's your theory/conclusion.

There's plenty of diversity on Nintendo platforms, I think the cause lies in the differences between PS4 and Vita and their respective userbases. The combination of niche platform + strong following in these threads takes its toll. Then there's also thread-specific differences, e.g. discussion in the Nintendownloads threads solely pertains to DL-related topics (news, questions, speculation). Game discussion all takes place in the respective OTs which is something this thread could benefit from (imo). But ok, they don't have to work the same way, of course.
It seems that several other people share my point of view. And even if I was the only one to feel this way, this is the ps4 topic as well. Don't be that guy, please.
I'm a bit late chiming in on this, but I couldn't end the day without telling you how gorgeous that Vita is.

I haven't seen people's impression about Shinovi Versus' multiplay much. Hopefully it's not just a tack on multiplaying for the sake of having multiplay.

Managed to put some good down time on NepReb and now I see why people enjoy the series. The quirkiness and self awareness of it all is such a breath of fresh air. Also the combat is pretty fun. I'm liking the game quite a bit, although it took a bit to click in.
Check out the OT for some tips and advises to save you from headache early on. Particularly the last several pages.

Unfortunately, yes. It's kinda strange seeing many Vita games are starting to have digital only in EU, while NA is getting niche game sin physical form.
Isn't it less than what we have on Amazon LE? I mean, they said it's only a game and a mystery game related item, while the LE we are getting on Amazon has the game, the OST CD and the book.
I'm not a fan of mystery gift unless I know it's a kind of nendoroid/figure.
Even in NA the game will not get a regular retail release, only the Limited Edition.
According to that Xseed guy who posts frequently on NeoGAF, it was already difficult to convince distributors to do a Limited Edition at all. And apparently doing any sort of retail release at all for Bon Appétit is completely out of the question, due to how raunchy it is.
I really hope more people will order the LE instead of buying it digital, so they will change their mind about retail release for those type of games.
Or at the very least, change their mind about games released by XSEED. Conception II got promoted by retailers just because it's from NISA.
