Haven't they usually been somewhere around 800 million at the box office? So over 700 million is hardly "tanked" or horribly underperforming. It's not the steep upwards trajectory all Marvel franchises are on, but it's still not _tanked_

I think the movies have been succesful but collectively no one gives a flying fuck about that "universe"

they've only been succesful cause it's spiderman. the "word" by anyone online is that they're terrible (specially compared to MCU stuff) and the critics have been harsh

Venom is said to be on the cutting block. Sinister Six maybe a soft reboot of the franchise with a new actor apparently. Sinister Six sounds awful too because instead of it being Spidey vs his villians its supposedly Spiderman teams up with his 6 famous villains to fight a bigger threat

What possible threat in the Spider-Man universe would require Spider-Man to team up with the sinister 6?

God Marvel needs to get the rights back from Sony or at least be more involved with the movie so they don't end up being a horrible mess.
