Warner Brothers selling off the key IP factory for their next 4 summers would have been whispered about before an announcement at a Comic Convention, I'm pretty sure.

I do think that the upper-tier of expectations should be Spidey, and Spidey alone, returning to Marvel. Like, that's probably as good as it could POSSIBLY get for this single announcement.

But again, It's way more likely, since NYCC is the more comics focused of the two major comic-cons by a fair amount, that this announcement is regarding a publishing matter, and will likely be announcing that the entire Marvel Universe is going to be Nu52'd.
