Marvel will publish a new "Secret Wars" by writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Esad Ribic as a year-long event starting in May 2015, the publisher revealed Thursday night at an offsite event at Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. in Times Square. The story will commence at the conclusion of the currently running "Avengers" and "New Avengers" storyline, "Time Runs Out."
I'm on it. All hail Based Hickman.

So this is a new movie? Or a continuation of the comic series?
With that, a trailer for a television special titled Marvel: From Pulp to Pop aired. The one-hour special will be hosted by Emily VanCamp, star of the television series Revenge, who also played Sharon Carter (aka "Agent 13") in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The documentary will air November 4 at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
Oh, and here I thought it would be something people cared about.

Is Marvel Unlimited worth it? Do they have the new titles, such as Avengers vs X-men?
While there's a Marvel thread on the front page, I had a question about the MCU and I was hoping someone here knew the answer to.
When Disney bought Marvel, they also arranged to take back the distribution rights to Iron Man 1, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America (the MCU films, not the characters). All of these films were previously distributed by Paramount. As a result, these films are now sold by Disney and have Disney branding in many cases.
It seems that Universal still owns the distribution rights for The Incredible Hulk (the Ed Norton / MCU film).
Does anyone have any information on why exactly Disney got the distribution rights back for all the other MCU films but not this one? Is it just indifference, or did Universal overplay their hand, or what? Is there a known time where distribution rights will revert to Marvel, and thus Disney, if an agreement doesn't occur?
Also, has Disney gotten the distribution rights to any pre-MCU Marvel films?
Everything is 6 months behind the new releases, so it should have AvX.
