Yay for Ayesha Plus, nay for DD-only. Oh well, I'll buy it anyway.

How is Child of Light, by the way? And does it have a demo on psn?
All ps1 games were on psp, it's not a home vs portable licensing issue, probably by platform, which is stupidCan they possibly get around this by claiming its a "home console" instead of a "portable console"? Might some simple wording like that adjust the licensing with some of these games?

Since we're talking about Atelier games, is beginning with Escha&Logy a good idea?
There's a petition requesting a physical release of the game.

You should all sign, if this one sells well we might get the rest of the series physically too.
Well I finally got Danganronpa from Play-Asia today. I ordered it on the 27th of August, when it was on sale for £18.07. It shipped on the 22nd of September. And then to add salt to the wound, I was forced to pay a customs charge of £11.67 today in order to actually obtain the package. So not only did I have to wait a fucking age for it to arrive, but when it did I had to pay an extra sum of money that rendered the whole point of importing in the first place completely pointless. You bet your ass I sent the site a very-miffed-in-tone message in response.
This game better be worth it.
It's not outside the realm of possibility. Without access to any of the original agreements we're all just guessing. Licensing is a messy business. Something as simple as wording in some contracts that allows for downloading to PS3 and PSP systems with no clear exclusion of where it can be _played_ could explain, for example, why some games must be sideloaded from PS3 to fit the letter of the agreement. Whereas other contracts for some PSP games might specifically mention PSP as the only playable system.
We'll never really get an explanation for it. First, because in many ways it's a waste of breath as it would just stir the pot, but also because if they are 'skirting' around some agreements to get us sideloaded games, for example, they certainly aren't going to call attention to it by commenting on it to the press.
It's along the same lines why exploited games disappear without comment, and then reappear without comment. They aren't going to make a point of telling the world that there are exploits to be found in the first place. Heck, that could even explain some of the random game disappearances -- perhaps in house engineers found an exploit in some game or another that the scene didn't find yet.

You shall fall into despair. There's no escaping from it's grasp. The series is amazing, hope you enjoy.
It's 1.5ish GB on PSN, and was on sale on EU PSN when 2 was released >_>;
Then again you made you order before the deal went up.
All of them? Without side loading? I was unaware of that! Sony!!
I'll post it here too since there are plenty Atelier fans here.
Just read the news, came here to see if someone has posted it. Gaf doesn't dissappoint, as always!
Well then that goes to show how much I know about the times back then. I never would have thought that was the case, but then again, it does make sense that deadlines and whatnot were more strict due to time to align and print everything. Good call!Quite the opposite. In the days of the printing press it was quite common to see reviewers who barely played the games they were talking about, as deadlines were far worse than they are today.
Seems like Atelier Ayesha Plus will be localized

Dragon age will change that my friend, Dragon age will change everything...Hmmm, the PS4 list hardly had me salivating. Praise the sneakers of Odin that I have Diablo III and Madden.
yay! more atelier for vitawhat's next after ayesha?
So I'm playing through Persona 2: Eternal Punishment on my Vita. The game is stuttering like crazy during battle scenes, like why? I tested the other PSX games I have I didn't get the issue. Has anyone else get these problems?
Indeed it isMan, that EDF 17 is sweet.

You've done good, son.Is it wrong of me if I have no intent to buy the game but still sign it up? I played a lot of the series already.

Nothing wrong with helping out the devsI already bought the ps3 version of minecraft so I'll have the vita version, but I'm seriously tempted to buy it on retail so I can do my bit to get in the charts.
I think I need help. I guess I could give it away if a miracle happens and I find someone who has a vita irl or sell it afterwards for a slight loss, but still![]()
Hooooo boy it sure is. I've never had the joys of multiplayer EDF, I'm sure that's so sweet it'll rot all my teeth at once.Man, that EDF 17 is sweet.
Lies. It's another shitty indie game. We want Knack.Just played Pix the Cat for the first time and it's really great! PS+ keeps on giving.
Their contract was probably quite clear about authorizing Sony to sell the games on PSP and PS3 since the services launched at the same time. Apparently the language does not include the Vita or PS4 etc, so they'll have to re-negotiate. Possibly a reason PS1 games on PS4 wasn't a high priorty for first year, it's possibly ANOTHER clusterfuck of rights, if at all possible they really need to start writing "and all possible future PS platforms" into contracts for digital download.
