Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Demo | Code Share | Bring on the Trumpets!

Does anyone know how the Club Nintendo distribution of codes for this works in Australia? Is it just random?

Edit: Hope it's not based on people who registered X or Y. For whatever reason I never registered my copy of Y and it doesn't have the Club Nintendo slip in the case anymore :/

If you make a Hotspot named NintenoSpotPass1 you can make a fake Nintendo zone.
I dont know if it actually fakes it completly, but you can get miis with it.
So i was wondering if it works for the demo as well...
Well the wireless security needs to off as you have to use the Nintendo Zone viewer. Also the SSID (hotspot name) needs to be one that gives out the demo. Many of the UK Nintendo Zone viewer are hilariously out of date.

If GAME UK are using Nintendo Zones for this someone instore will have to scan for SSIDs.

I don't like the new music, it's lost a lot of the character and sounds oddly fake.
I just have to hope for a HG/SS style headpone item I suppose. Oh great I've hyped myself now :(

Well the demo taking place in Mossdeep adds to the rumor of the new mega being Solrock/Lunatone.
Except that we knew that the demo was in Mossdeep before the 'leak'. Also the 'leaker' destroyed her credibility by supporting another 'leaker' who is obviously full of shit.

Indeed. It was one of the first things we knew about the demo

Liked when they did this via email for Platinum Club Nintendo members.
Think they'll do that again, like Smash, as an alternative to the store cards?

Like the in-store Pokemon events, if I have to go somewhere and pick something up, I'll probably pass unless I happen to be there anyway.

Supposedly the demo title screen in Korean.

Well you have to access the Nintendo Zone and get the code from it, but yeah.

Umm sorry if I'm playing dumb here but I really have no clue, is that a app I have to download from the eShop beforehand or will that automatically pop-up once I connect to the WiFi there? D:

As long as your 3DS is up to date it should tell you it's found a Nintendo zone and show you how to connect

The latest method for Spain revealed. Like the UK, it's obtained at the Nintendo Zone in GAME from Wednesday.

But, it's limited to 20,000 codes so be sure to get it.

New image has cropped up which shows that the starters are there with Mega Evolutions too and coome with the elemental hyper beams.

Unknown if you can transfer their Mega Stone.

Hey Joe, are you aware if there's a limit on the number of demos to be given out in UK GAME stores?
I imagine all distributions are limited as we've seen some sell out already and the German page detailing the Nintendo Zone distribution mentions "while supplies last" too.

I've had a copy of both Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire pre-ordered from ShopTo since the game was announced. They'd better codes to pre-orders first.

If they were based solely on pre-orders, you would think that they would just come out and say it. There's no mention of the demo on Amazon or Smyths.

I thought that there might be other ways to get it based on their databases but I'm not so sure now.

I imagine in the Corocoro coming out tomorrow, nothing major about Pokemon will be in it, just the demo code, right? I might go to bookstore tomorrow to look. I've never bothered to deal with my JPN 3DS in eShop stuff, but if there's some interesting Pokemon stuff (or added Pokemon bonus that comes with it), I'd be tempted to pick it up. If I end up getting one, I'll toss code up here. Only want US version of demo anyway.

The info from CoroCoro has leaked from it. It had details of Mega Beedrill, Pidgeot, Lati@s etc.

Gunna go tomorrow to check this out at my Smyths store unless i get an email code, kinda sucks cause i wanted a 3ds capture card to put it on youtube and we are past the day and age of using video cameras to record 3ds footage bah bah

I think NOE are trying to say we've given them x codes and it is up to them to work out how to distribute them we're not going to tell them nor are we going to report things because plans change.

I'd love a crack at this demo, but the problem I have is having moved to Australia last year I have a UK 3DS and so won't be able to access a code myself. Can anyone think of a way around this? Alternatively if anyone has any spare codes I'd be hugely greatful.

Could I bug you for that Japan code if possible?

I know, it always leaks, haha. I meant any goodies that come with Corocoro. Doubt it, looking at website a bit ago. Looks like cards and other stuff from other series this month. Boo.

Not sure if I'll end up buying a copy of the magazine. I tend to buy it if it has some fun or interesting Pokemon interesting stuff in it (printed or additional goodies like cards or other stuff.)

Smyths only distributes it by e-mail. Only in-store distribution is through GAME's Nintendo Zone

Hi, my brother would like a code for this demo, so what is the easiest way of obtaining one in the UK.

Thanks.

Go to GAME tomorrow with your 3DS and connect to the Nintendo Zone app

The demo should be available in Japan soon, right? So we should get some details/impressions soon

Japanese still have to get the code and the magazine with it is out tomorrow, so they'll have to wait til stores open. A couple of people may post it, but best not to get hopes up

I wonder if the convenience stores will have it up in 8 minutes, midnight. I have a Lawson to the left of my apt and 7/11 across the street from me. Lol

It's hard to say. Some do, some don't. My friend is pretty sure that the ones near her won't, so she's going early tomorrow morning to her bookstore for it.

Are they going to put up a limited play version of the demo on the eShop later like they did with Smash Bros?
Because I pre-ordered from Game's website and fuck this demo if I need to go into a physical store and ask for a code and they also only have a limited number of them.
