Welp. The onslaught of gigantic phones is never going to end is it? Is the Z3C my best option for under 5" phones?

Actually, all signs seems that Verizon will sell the Nexus 6 directly.
I'll have to check it out.Moto G?
I still have my Nexus 5, so I could just stick with it another year. Thing is, even the N5 is a bit too big for me, and I'm a sucker for new tech....Z3C seems like the best sub 5 inch phone for Android. I nearly bought one but I'm concerned about Sony and how timely their android updates will be. It would have been awesome to get a Nexus phone based on the Z3C :/
Nexus 6 = pocket computer.
Making phone calls is one of the many things it can do.
Can't help but think Google realizes phone calls is not what these devices are used for the most.
I for one, think 6 inches is gonna be the sweet spot for a device that is your primary computer, that fits in your pocket.
Can not wait to leave the Note line for a Nexus 6.
This is coming from a Note user who is very happy with the size of the screen.
I'm totally expecting $400 for the Nexus 6.

030It is being announced tomorrow. No time is being announced though. Apparently it will be revealed in a blog post.
It means I'm excited
It's supposed to be a wide eyed emote face D:is that USA time?
Usually the rule is contract price + 350 for full price.
So 400.
I hope Google refreshes the Nexus 5 and sells it for 200.
I'd take a refreshed N5 with a 805 and 3000mah battery over the N6 any day.
Hell yes.
I don't own a Nexus 5, but I've always thought it looked nice as hell.

I just really hope Google actually do something about the battery life this time. Nexus 5's battery life is abysmal, and gets even worse when paired with my Moto 360.
So tempted to pick up a Z3 or Z3C just for the awesome battery.
It's supposed to have a 3200mah battery I believe so it should have great battery life.
If the rumours are true which is 5.9" and 1440p I doubt it'll have 'great' battery life. You're powering more pixels, bigger panel, GPU has to push more power.
The situation with the note 4 isn't that different and based on reviews it has a pretty great battery life.If the rumours are true which is 5.9" and 1440p I doubt it'll have 'great' battery life. You're powering more pixels, bigger panel, GPU has to push more power.

Seems to be even better than the Note 3 based on this review:it has good battery life but, maybe i am wrong, isn't it like g3 vs g2, igood battery life but worse than its previous version?
http://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_4-review-1147p3.phpAs it turns out, our worries were in vain as Samsung has done more than enough on the back-end to compensate for the new more powerful chipset and the higher-res screen. The new phablet managed to last longer than the Galaxy Note 3 by just over 10h, posting the overall great score of 87h.

i will wait for further impressions but i will be happy if i am wrong![]()
So this time it was lg that should've waited for 805 and samsung did the right choice. And hopefully N6 behaves like note4![]()
EDIT: I suspect Android Wear 2.0 is available from today, will be based on L.
Do we have a time for this? Surely they're not just going to post on the internet "hey guys nexus 9 and 6 are out now woooo!" - is there a media event

Can Android Wear watches update themselves OTA regardless of manufacturer? E.g will all the watches such as the Moto 360 get the update today if this also gets announced?

Google have total control over Wear. OEM's install applications and functionality on top of Wear, but the core OS cannot be modified. This ensures OTA's go out at the same time on all devices (at least in theory).
I really, really think Google are going to force this for L. OEM's can "skin" the OS and provide their own applications through the Play Store then Google will update the OS on their own.
Seems Wear devices are all perfectly stock, so updating shouldn't require any sort of extra wait, unlike Android phones.
That is literally what happened last year with the N5.
Ahh that's great, I hope the Moto360 gets it today if so. I just managed to get my order in at John Lewis last night before they sold out this morning, should have it tomorrow! Would be extra awesome if Wear 2.0 was out in time for me getting it![]()
If it's a N6, N9, Wear 2.0 and L release date (with final featurelist and proper name) then you'd expect a little more hoorah though.
oh man i hope these are placeholder prices for the 6. will make me sad to have to skip a nexus device
