To those who havent received a code make sure to check your junk, spam or any other folders. I received mine on my gmail promotions folder
 
Just an FYI but if you changed your email address to your pokemon profile, check that old email address. Mine went there despite changing the address and also ended up in the spam folder of that old address. Good lord.
 
For those who got the demo, how are you guys enjoying it? I'm having a blast with it! It feels new and it doesn't feel like it's X/Y.
I never finished any of the original since I didn't play Pokemon at the time. But I did play a little of it a few months ago when a friend lend me his copy of Ruby.
 
I got my code, I read that you have to play everyday or something? what sort of hidden things have people found so far?

I never got into R/S/E so it's all fresh to me.
 
I didn't get their last email at all but I know I'm set up for their mails since I got one 2 months ago. This is so stupid.
 
I just checked my inbox and there it was :), Now to wait for and hour and a half until I get off work to start downloading it.
 
Just got the demo and played the first couple days of it.

My overall impressions of the game are generally positive. It's nice to be back in Hoenn, and it definitely, at least in the colors and art style, looks a lot more vibrant and lush. To me it's always been one of the most memorable regions, and when compared to x and y, it definitely stands out to me.

One thing that I sort of have an issue with is the soundtrack. I don't necessarily think that it's bad per se, but it's just a little bit different. I never had a problem with the big, brassy sounds in the original games

. The arrangements seem a lot calmer and more dialed down. Of course, i haven't heard the rest of the soundtrack, so I still have hope that it will blow me away.

Gameplay wise, it played almost identically to X and Y. It's pretty cool to have new mega's for the starters to try out, and Mega Swampert is incredible. I don't think that the demo let's you try out the area/dex/poke nav, but I can see those being hopefully interesting.

Now, on to the actual demo itself. It's pretty solid. My only issues with it are that, at least for the first day events, it's really easy. I had no problem taking down any opponent that got in my way. I doubt this is indicative of the final game, and hopefully the demo gets more challenging when you go through the different scenarios.

Thats the other part of the demo I really dig. Going to different islands each time is pretty cool. It gave me some heavy nostalgic visions of the sevii islands and some sections of the old Hoenn. Sure, most of the missions on the islands are pretty barebones, but it's a demo so i'm not expecting too much.

All in all, this has definitely raised my excitement for the game. Getting the full game with all of the features will definitely make it feel a lot better to me. 1 more month of waiting!
 
Still no code. Ugh what a load. Been checking my email account all morning and still nothing. Didn't get a code for smash bros either even though i went platinum and qualified for it. Come on nintendo and show me some love!!!

EDIT: Just got my code and im expecting another code later. Will post on gaf when i get the 2nd email
 
Welp, went looking for my code only to find the email for me to confirm my email account for the website. Apparently I never did that since I used my junk email for the promotion and didn't realize i would need to confirm it. Shit ... if anyone has a spare I'd love one.
