Ok, I have listened to his albums because I heard by people that they were critically well received, and praised the work themselves, so I gave them a chance. In my opinion, there is simply nothing of substance there. If you feel differently and desire to indulge in his music, go for it.

What's your definition of substance would be the first place I'd start. Even if you disagree what he's talking about to sit here and say there's nothing to his lyrics, as though he's talking gibberish is silly.
