Fighting Games Weekly | Oct 27-Nov 2 | A Lot Of Shit Went Down

I think the only guaranteed games are
Ultra, Smash 4, MKX, and Xrd. Seriously.

I don't even think Marvel is guaranteed right now.
How is Marvel not guaranteed? It still received good numbers last year, and there was a new champion using two uncommon characters. Marvel 2 was present for quite some time despite dwindling popularity. I agree the other 4 you listed are guaranteed, though. The real question is whether we'll get P4A or BlazBlue.

If Smug and Pepeday are really going to Dreamhack I have to catch that. One match I really want to see is Daigo vs Smug and it may happen if Smug gets to Capcom Cup.

BB and P4 are doubtful. The only way I can see one of them getting in is if they replace KoF assuming we keep the same number of games as last time.

If Marvel 3 is not at EVO 2015 then I will wear a Mike Ross avatar for life and never say anything bad about him, even as a joke.

Guys what's your favorite special move in gaming

stone cold stunner from day of rec 2, always satisfying.

Guys what's your fave super move in gaming?

that game where you can play both a dinosaur and gief and gief does his atomic buster from space.

Everyone, we've found Dahbomb's tag.

My favorite super move in fighting game history is Ryu's Shin Shoryuken. The hits are extremely beefy and manly.

Favorite special move is EWGF if that counts.

I thought Q was making a joke about all the "what's your favorite x in gaming" threads on the first page of OT right now

Favorite Special? Damn, that's a hard ass question.

If I had to pick one, it would probably be 3s Ryu's Donkey Kick. Just... a manly ass move. So satisfying to land. The EX version in particular.

Runner Up: GGXX Johnny's Mist Finer. MS cancel combos and feints are too dope.

Favorite Super would probably be 3S Ken's SA 3. The versatility of the character was so damned fun and satisfying and this Super was a big reason for that.

May as well extend it to favorite normal: For me, it has to be SC2 Cervante's 3B. On CH, it led to my favorite fighting game combo. Mostly because I practiced it like my life depended on it, but also because it was hard as fuck to be consistent with, since it required one frame timing but was so satisfying and so damaging.

Runner Ups: SC2 Yun's B4 and Melee Mario's F. Air. The latter made you look like a God when you edge guarded with it among your scrubby friends.

After watching Mikeoto wreck shit these last couple days, I decided to try her out.

I've gone 2-43.

That's a HUGE improvement over what I would usually get.
