Tech news media has been split with the actual release date of Nexus 6. Know Your Mobile chose to be vague and said that pre-orders will be accepted at the end of October. Ordoh.com, meanwhile is confident that the acceptance of pre-orders will begin via Google Play on October 29, and that fans will have the phone in their hands on November 3.

I just ordered a Nexus 5 as I just noticed they came back in stock. I'm sad I can't join the 6 club but its just too much and too big. I hope it doesn't sell as well as previous models and gets Googy back to the pricing and feature set of the 4 and 5. I feel like I've seen mixed reception online so hopefully that'll help people who want it day one.

T-Mobile is confirmed to NOT be doing preorders. Just get it in store on the 12th. They are also only carrying 32gb versions in store. You have to order online to get the 64.

I may end up getting the Nexus 6, but I need reviews to confirm the battery life is good for me to even consider it. The size + bad battery = instant no buy. The display size and QHD have me worried.

Also, Motorola confirmed the GSM Droid Turbo exists, and it is being launched/announced in Brazil next week. If that comes to the US, then I may reconsider.

They're all unlocked.

And, yes, that's when they will be in stores, so I suppose it is possible that they will ship next week from the Play Store. But, Google has been completely mums about it, and the only solid confirmed date for it to be in consumers' hands is the 12th. I guess we will find out today when they go on preorder.

I'm still waiting for reviews. If I do get one, it will be via T-Mobile, since they do that very excellent 0% interest payment plan.

The 1440 x 2560 493 ppi AMOLED display doesn't pop out and really hit you in the face the way the Galaxy Note 4's does, but it looks wonderful all the same.
