Lol I know and you're like the only one.
I am going to make a Walking Dead OT sooner than later, but it's because Walking Dead is just to big to handle.Sort of like my D.
But yeah, I've said it to a couple of you in person, and I'll say it here as well: Comics are fucking GREAT. I love them. GH and I have had some awesome discussions about the medium.
I'm also a real human being as well, and I consider a bunch of you regulars friends; but comics can only stretch a friendship so thin.
A lot of you are awesome. I'll probably end up meeting some of you in real life. I travel, I do comic con and all that shit...so there has to be something other than comics to talk about. If we're sitting there shooting the shit, and someone busts out some shit about their favorite colorist or whatever...I'm gonna give you the weirdest fucking look.
It's about more than comics peeps. It's about you.
I think the publisher specific threads would focus more on storylines and stuff while the main OT is still functioning could work. Hypothetically.
I come here to see Kipps drawings and his passion for saving money. I am rooting for him to get his first job as a zoo keeper so he can continue to not buy any books.
I think in the end we can all come together and agree this is Kipp's fault.

Exactly, this thread will still function exactly as is. The only thing that would change is on Wednesdays when people come in here and give their impressions of a book they bought that day, it would be put in the respective community thread. We will still do list in this thread, we would still debate news and everything. But I want to enter a thread and talk and theorize with like minded people about the books I read as they come out. Some people don't read their books on Wednesdays either and by the time they get to reading them, it's old news and they don't even bother. Grand Harrier reads his books days after they come out and post his impressions and they just get overlooked. It's like he talking to the void because he didn't get to talk about it when everybody else did and now we're on X subject. I read my books probably before most and my discussions get caught in the void. Tim rarely post his impressions of books he read any more and I value what he likes. Tim and I have had more meaningful conversation on Twitter than ever in this thread. I just want more focus.
Hell no, even when 90% of my Comics are Marvel books, I dont want another shitty reason for your laughable and childish Comicbookfanboywars
Oh god, what is happening, domt split upComicGAF is best GAF, dont change how it works

splitting comics gaf would pretty much be the death knell. I would probably just stop posting all together.
"I'm not overly fond of what follows."
I have changed the GIF now
Muhahahaha
There's nothing wrong with making a specific thread about a comic topic. That's what GAF does now. In this case, make a Future's End thread.Maybe the problem is nobody wants to talk about Future's End or whatever gimmick DC is doing this month.

Yup. Just like DC reached people with their TV output. Especially their excellent CW showsI think the important thing to realize is that Marvel has been taking advantage of films as a new platform to reach people, and DC has yet to do that outside of Batman. That's why Marvel gets so much attention outside of just comic fans. When DC movies start hitting theaters, we'ok see how it turns out.
