by stating that I think you have bad tastes or that those games don't deserve high scores? I didn't realize that it's an insult, or that it's the same as calling someone dumb. damn, I insulted everyone, I'll open a thread to apologize.
now go play some DA to cool off, you're sweating.

I didn't actually call you dumb, but I'm not surprised you didn't get that (e: not calling you dumb here either, just pointing out how little thought you seem to be putting into reading posts and replying to them). Rest of this post I'm not even gonna address cause it makes me sad someone could write it, read it through and think "yes, this is fine" and click that submit reply button.

God DAMN, I'm excited for this. Haven't really sunk my teeth into a good RPG in ages, and by all indication, this is going to be one hell of a good RPG.

Who else amongst my X1 brethren is using that sweet EA Access to get a 6 hour head start? Monday the 17th at 6pm, I'm going in and I'm not coming out 'til morning.

I didn't just see it, I even wrote it! The gif with nicolas cage laughing was totally screaming "I'm burning in rage right now"

As bad as your sarcasm is, posting over the top gifs for attention sort of proves my point, lol.

You're just an angry person who is upset people can enjoy games you don't, and wants everyone else to feel bad too, according to you.

Still trying to decide if I should get the Deluxe edition or not, what says GAF?

Check out some of the tracks on YouTube for the soundtrack. That's why I'm buying the Deluxe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQDs5P42MNg

If soundtracks aren't your thing it's unlikely the bonus stuff will be worth $10 as it's largely cosmetic. Then again if you like cosmetic stuff (armor/weapon schematics, a dragon skull throne, special mounts) then maybe!

I'll be giving the last dragon another try in an hour or so. I'll try and give a picture from the Necro tree.

Oh yes, please do. I love necromancers in RPG's and I'm considering to roll one as my first character if the skills sound fun.

Party members can be a necromancer too, right? Just wondering if it isn't a specialization tree for the main hero or anything.

Have we got all the specialization passives & actives yet? Would help deciding my class.

The dragons sound like a monstrous challenge. I'm planning to start and stick with Nightmare, guess I'll need the absolute best gear and level for it. Does anyone know what the level cap is?

If you think that multiplayer is really important, and care about premium content, get the deluxe edition.

If you just want to spend your precious time on SP, and don't think that multiplayer matters at all, buy the standard version.

any users that have this early? I know what the critics are saying, but honestly I thought DA2 was kinda crappy and it scored really well.

Would rather hear from ppl that own their own sites or just regular gamers in regards to story.

Hopefully the multiplayer has legs too. This game has blown every expectation I had.

Well done Bioware. Hopefully the sales reflect it.

Took me a while to get used to mouse and keyboard. I think gamepad is better for tactical view by a lot.
Unless BioWare failed miserably, I doubt a controller would be better for tactical view.
You seem to have played it, however, so I hope it's just your personal preference, otherwise I might have to wait for mods/skip this entirely.

The brilliance of the writing in Inquisition lies not in the overarching plot, but rather in the way the story draws together all the threads, and I mean all the threads, of the previous two Dragon Age games. I have never played a game that so deftly draws upon the plotlines of previous games in a franchise to shape its narrative, at once acknowledging old stories without feeling stale, and casting back to lore without feeling self indulgent.

I didn't think I could get more excited but I just did. Multiple playthroughs of each game plus reading all the books and World of Thedas sounds like I'm going to be this storyline's bitch.

Might be personal preference.

I just think the camera works better with the joysticks from the gamepad. It's kinda difficult to explain. I'll just wait and see what you guys think of it once the game is out.

Does this game follow the Dragon Age series or is it completely separate of the other 2?
Isolated story that takes place as a result of actions taken in previous games. Likely will have parts of previous story have minor and (maybe)major effects on this isolated story.

Each Dragon Age game is its own story, though. They don't roll over the same story between games like Mass Effect or other games do.

So what happens after you beat the main quest ?

is it like skyrim can you just explore and do other quests ?

Can I be a lone archer? leaving companions behind?

Sorry what does the deluxe edition have to do with multiplayer?

Yes and yes, but the latter is not recommended as the game is built for party combat.

But the game certainly allows you to roll solo.
