But I'm sure there are some important side quests story and character wise right?
Each of the companions have their own story quests. Interesting...sure....Important...probably not

This was most likely it's own thread all together, but what are everyone's thoughts on the Dragon Age Keep?
I liked I was able to change a few things in the story. One thing in particularI thought it was silly something so small wouldn't allow me to make a big change in the story like that... or maybe it isn't a big part of the story...was having Alistair and Anora rule Ferelden together. I apparently wasn't able to make it happen because of a small conversation decision with Alistair when you help find his sister.
I hate that I can't import my save files, mainly because I never had my EA/Origin account linked to DA:O or DA2. I had those files sitting on my PC ready to be imported. Yeah, it's okay in the end, I'm able to just remake those decisions in the Keep... but I feel like all those hours wasted on DA2 are now TRULY a waste...
Not part of this conversation but ok.
Yes, wanting a company to be rewarded with a bonus on a good product is sad

So I decided to play dragon age 2 before inquisition comes out. I'm gonna play on easy and steamroll it. Is there a guide to what side quests I can skip and which ones I should do?
I wish I knew. I take it there's no hard and fast rules for this stuff?

That elf girl is actually really funny.
You also completely missed EmoBalthier.
So is there an option in the game to turn on crazy blood splatter like in DA:O? It was always hilarious in cutscenes.
Is there blood at all in Inquisition? I haven't seen copious amounts of it in gameplay videos.

I saw a stream with it. It didn't seem as prominent as it has been, but I clearly saw the blood splatter.

Man, I *do* want to dive into this game, and it's the only title I'm interested in for the rest of the year... I've only really played LoU on PS4 outside of that, but I really wish I had the EA trial to just erase all doubt.
I may skip the preorder and just read the OT impressions and hype before I finally cave
Let others be the guinea pigs and get it when it goes on sale.

Hope so. If the PS3 version hit $40 during Thanksgiving weekend, I'd be in.Think that will happen since it's Christmas/black friday season?

I am in Canada, but I am hoping for some sweet Cyber Monday deal or something.

I'm watching a full playthrough of DA2's Story/Cinematics and my god this is so accurate. The Characters of Dragon Age 2
Did you answer the question..."Does Bioware bonuses depend on the metacritic score\/\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'.
As far as I know the DA:I contract hasn't leaked, but it's within the realm of possibility that they have a bonus tied to metacritic because other recent games have. And even if they don't, it's possible that they have a bonus structure dependent on something else potentially affected by metacritic - like sales.
If you don't think MC affects sales at all, I don't know what to tell you. Anecdotal evidence is all we have, but it's pretty much accepted as true that higher scored games attract people who may otherwise not have been interested.
Saw this video of an epic fight against a dragon in the Hinterlands.

Man...he killed the dragon and its little baby dragon wandered out and stared at the corpse. Thanks for the guilt trip BioWare!

Commendable attitude, but it's something we'll never know. I'm positive the developers are proud of their gameBecause I want a company who puts out a great game to get what they deserve? it only takes one or two shit reviews to tank the meta critic score and poof goes their money.
I'm wondering the same thing, I swear they said it would be up on Thursday.Where's that Gametrailers review :O
It depends, DAI is dialogue heavy and has tactical/action based combat. If those tickle your fancy then yes, do it.I'm dying for a good WPRG.
Should I trade in Lords of the Fallen for this?
Don't know where to post this, so I'll ask it here: the game is not letting me level up my character. The character details section shows locked up. Has anyone run into this?
X1 version here
Keep playing buddy, I think you may in the tutorial section of the game. The inventory and character (level up/skills0 pages will unlock eventually as will party selection.
I think I got past that part already. As a good skill point hoarder, I didn't use the skill point at the time. I'm more than 2 hours into it and still shows locked.
If Iremember correctly the first skill point, if you're past that and it's still locked, defo a bug. Report to Bioware? Or start again :Sis when you close the first fade rift
So somebody made Khaleesi with the CC:

Watching DA2 playthrough
SoIt is pretty much Isabella's fault for the Qunari attack. I can't believe there's no way to get rid of her. I also appreciated the irony of Aveline talking to the Arishok about taking the law into his hands, when that is pretty much all Hawke does
I'd have been so frustrated with that plot point.
