How are people finding the GamePad and/or the Pro Controller for this?
I really like the Pro controller. It's responsive and durable and I don't have any issue with the button placements.
Best of all, it's comfortable.

Yo, the starfox stage is based off. my favorite level in starfox assault.
yooooooooooooo
looks so fucking good in HD
Well, that's a stupid way to make them better.
But they can't be used online, right?
Correct, they are only for local play, as with equipment-boosted characters.
It's like DBZ training in 9000x gravity or something, though. When you go back to non-cheating level 9 CPUs afterwards, they feel like a relief in comparison.
I did finally realize a key weakness of the level 50 Amiibo Peach's AI, managed to beat it twice, and called it a day for that. Humanity saved for now. =P
Need to know about the online
Custom moves can be used local or online with friends. Custom moves CANNOT be used in non-friend online modes like For Glory.Doesn't really sound like an issue then
Speaking of local only, you can create custom movesets in this, right? Are those only for local or can you take that online too?
Need to know about the online
Depends on the TV.On a LED Tv which connection have the lower input lag ? HDMI or Component ?
There is any way to gather some data from both ?
Haul from today!

Played for hours with some friends of mine. Good times. Had a lot of fun. Looking forward to more tomorrow with more people coming over when i'm off taking care of my job in the morning!
I am new to the game and gave the remote and nunchuck scheme a serious try. I found it unusable. The game pad is fine, though. All I have are the game pad and Wiimote + Nunchuck.
How playable is the game with either of these two?
Yeah. This is annoying, but I guess the game assumes the same player is always playing on the 3DS. On the Wii U it seems to err on the side of a different player being at the controls each time.I wish they remembered my color preference like the 3DS.
America is a beautiful placeTimes like this I wish I had freedom![]()
I'm trying to even beat my level 40 Amiibo once before bed now.![]()

...I think Doc Louis looked a lot better in the 3DS version. On Wii U, he looks like he just smelled something nasty.
Doc Louis should be in the background on the Wii U game the whole time, cheering Mac on Pokemon Trainer-style.
Actually, all characters should have that. Tails for Sonic
Depends on the TV.
As for gathering data. If you can get the GamePad to mirror the TV image and have a timer increasing on both (don't know if you can do this in SSB, might have to use MK8 instead) take a clear picture using a high speed setting. If the times are:
-Equal. The TV has one frame of lag
-TV less than GamePad. Zero lag, well done.
-TV more than GamePad. Take the difference of the times and add 1/60 of second, that is you lag.
You can transfer a customized fighter/Mii. That is about it.So, other than using it as a controller, what other functionality does the 3DS and Wii U versions share?
I put my samus amiibo to play against 7 players in 8 player smash constantly, to level up fast, she would win. But then I realized maybe she's not getting good at 1 v 1 since 8 players is chaos. I put her against Mario cpu lvl 9,she was like 20 I believe And she got 3 stock. She just kept pressing b and using her charger, spamming it, throwing little balls not charged. So I kept putting her against a samus cpu that knew what they were doing, she still lost but 2 games in she was now kicking, changing the blast to max and throwing it at the right time, not spamming it, started using missiles etc and just overall doing what the cpu was doing but better, she was owningI'm curious how much Amiibo actually learns from your play-style, or whether it's just a pre-programmed level grade. I can't imagine the 256 bytes of data stored in the chip actually keeping a record of specific behaviours...
Anyone got any insight or experiences?
that looks like a falcon punch! look out mr sonic!
4 are through events, 1 is play all Smash Tour maps, and one is get one kill is cruel melee. How do you unlock all stages?
How do you unlock all stages?
I've been getting largely lag-free 4-man smashes from the start. That alone should tell you something.
then again I've been beginning to experience that with the 3DS version this week...
