Show off your Dragon Age Inquisitor

I was going for the Aldo Ray look but didn't have the patience to model him 1:1.
Nevertheless I'm pretty happy with the result.

You can't mess with the face shape slider in my experience. You might get something that looks fine in CC, but then in game they look like goddamned mutants.

So best to settle in on one of the more balanced, fuller presets as a base and leave it alone... change features but the actual face shape is best left unmolested, otherwise... yikes.

btw wondercheese seems as though I ran out of time. Gotta go to work. My sole attempt at Elf man ended in utter defeat. But now I feel compelled to best this CC. Just not today.

Thanks for trying, I appreciate it. I'm probably gonna do like you said and pick the one I like the best from the pre-sets, and then just change the hair and some very minor things. I thought maybe people were being overly picky when they were complaining about the hair options, but nope, they were right...the hair options are seriously terrible.

The guy in the background seems to have misapplied his eyebrows.

Regardless... good character. Looks natural and not too gamey.

edit: Yeah, this is the laziest attempt at hair in a CC I've seen in a long time. Most options are buzzcuts and almost all the hair is the same regardless of race or gender! Lol... give me a break. And most look like they were made in MS Paint.

Gotta say there's not a lot of options to make the character unique, other than put on drag makeup. The hair choices are especially lacking. The same damn hair for a pretty elf girl and a surly dwarf male.

I decided to try a Qunari first. This is probably the character I'll go with.

I did the usual Bioware redhead female too.

And another attempt at a rogue that's not a redhead...

anyone else kind of upset by the downgrade your character undergoes the second you leave the character creation screen?

in some ways the essence of the face you designed doesn't even carry over quite right to the actual character. hard to describe.

I thought this was kind of common. Def not the first game where your character doesn't look as good in game as the character creator shows. Destiny is a very good example of this. My female awoken looked unbelievably cute in the creator. But in game she's only kinda cute. lol.

I deviated really far from the standard face model at first and it just didn't look right, I'm not very talented when it comes to CC's. So I played it safe and tweaked the smaller things that were easy and came out with this relatively pedestrian 2-hand warrior.

Here's my mage, Natalia.

The character creator is bizarre for eyebrow options.

At least 3 or 4 of the ladies' brows were horrendous. I can't imagine anyone choosing them other than for a piss-take character.

Finally created a decent looking male elf. I wouldn't say he's attractive, but at least unique without looking like a dork or a mutant. Will post a couple pics later.

Thought I'd share a couple more.

I spent maybe two and a half hours in creation, although that was over a few different races. Qunari was the only one I could get something I liked from.

I really love how diverse everyone's characters are. They all look great.

I just realized I look almost exactly the same as the dwarf scout. Same hair, same eyes and my scar is suspiciously similar too

aaagh

pls tell me I can get a haircut

Ashe Lavellan

I'm really happy with how she turned out. I spent about 40mins on my first attempt only to end up scrapping it completely; this attempt took about 10mins and she looks much better.

I originally wanted to make a female Qunari because I love this look:

But the hair selection for Qunari is terrible, even worse than for the other races. Hopefully they include a hairstylist NPC in an upcoming patch/DLC. After deliberating on what I wanted to do I went with the Standard Bioware Female Protagonist look. Went with an elf because Solas really intrigues me.

Many of these look amazing. Is there any website creating a database of the sliders yet? Really annoying that we didn't get the face codes this time.

For some reason I can't upload screenshots to twitter. It fails everytime. Even re-linked to the account. Dang.

I'm hoping to create a character that strongly resembles Sidney Poitier (To Sir, With Love, A Patch of Blue) or Crystal Renn. I honestly haven't made up my mind, as it's a lot of fun screwing around with the sliders & such.

These goofballs changed my inquisitor from an ebony prince to a freaking shrek look alike?! the weird thing is when I load my old save he's back to looking regular. But I'm like 2 and 1/2 3 hours past where I was........ ugh damn you bioware!
I'm trying to upload the pics..... but I don't know how :(

Pretty much all of my re-rolls have been pure shit when you finally get them into the game for a look-over.

Very frustrating.

Fortunately I really like the human sword n boarder I made... but damn dude I wanted to play through as a rouge the first time. And can;t make one that doesn't look horrible (in game).

This is a very poor CC in my opinion. The options are severely limited (I cannot believe the hair is the same for almost all genders and races) and then it really misrepresents the final in-game results. It was poorly done.

I bet not a single reviewer on planet earth had any actual criticism about teh CC. For people interested in that sort of thing. But I digress.
