Tradition in the Lords of Fortune. From one of our old members, Bharv. Good guy, but like most of us, his plans went sideways a lot. Bad blood among your crew's not good for morale, but there's not always time for big, drawn out apologies. So when one of us screws up, and we know we've screwed up, we do a quick ten to put it right. Pulling a Bharv.
The entire story will be told through various notes and journal entries.Maybe Elder Scrolls 6 will pull a Double Fine and the next game won't have any dialog at all. Just a bunch of Silent Walking Forts that we have to figure out how to climb and defeat the bandits inside.
Starfield being subtle:I don't think it really matters. Starfield was a bit more subtle but was heavily modern audience coded. No reason to expect it will be any different with the next Elder Scrolls.
Let's put on our unisex leotards and go out for a wild night of platonic hands-off dancing.Starfield being subtle:

I call shotgun on the leopard g-string, you better find something else to wear.Let's put on our unisex leotards and go out for a wild night of platonic hands-off dancing.
I can agree wih this.I always felt that Skyrim had better scenario writing than Oblivion, but Oblivion had better character writing than Skyrim.
because the gif is small, I thought it was small two leg dinosaurus in the left side : ))
I can't see them having a full blown guild with just archers, at most it'll be a very small and minor guild like the Bard's College in Solitude from Skyrim. They need to have an archers guild with a bow centric storyline
Do you really think HR go looks up the sales figure of games worked on listed on a resume? No, they hire based on boxes checked and years of experience. But how does the hiring process look like here? I don't get it.
Hey, HR, look at these games I worked for. All of them bomBed and laughed at for the writing.
HR: HIRED !!
I would agree with you but I don't remind any memorable writing in any Bethesda games after Skyrim...I'm not sure it can get any worse. Now, one of the writers behind Dragon Age Veilguard has been hired at Bethesda as a Senior Quest Designer.
John Dombrow was a Senior Writer/Narrative Designer at BioWare and helped craft Davrin's story arc, Veil Jumper storyline, and a few other missions from the game. His other work for BioWare also includes co-leading writing on Mass Effect Andromeda and being credited as a senior writer for Anthem.
John's BioWare experience may raise questions, but he's also helped make some of the best-written games ever. His most recent work is for the upcoming Ghost of Yotei, while in the past, he has worked for Telltale Games, writing for Game of Thrones.

Ugh! He worked on Ghost of Yotei . . .
Lots of Arrows, knees and sweetrolls. Said by all 3 voice actors.I would agree with you but I don't remind any memorable writing in any Bethesda games after Skyrim...I'm not sure it can get any worse.

I wonder where those writers went, lol.
Fallout 4 is fun until all of the flaws start to reveal themselves and the terrible story leaves you feeling like nothing you did in the game matters. Fallout 4 had one of the worst stories imaginable and the search for your son fell flat on its face.
After Fallout 76 and Starfield, I don't know how anyone can truly believe Elder Scrolls VI will be better then Skyrim or Oblivion or Morrowwind. Like what the hell are you basing that off of? All evidence points to the contrary, that it will be the worst mainline Elder Scrolls game since Daggerfall.I still believe Elder Scrolls VI will be one of the best games of all times.
Hope not too many of the fucked up shit gets put in but Elder Scrolls and Fallout are my two favorite series so I have to accept it even if there is.
betheda games almost never had good writing. Was the story ever good for TES games? I mean the premise is interesting, but the actual writing and plot?
There are always several really well written / funny side quests and interactions. But since there are hundreds of sidequests in each game, of course some of them are going to be good. Most side quests end up being pretty forgettable. Was the story ever good for TES games? I mean the premise is interesting, but the actual writing and plot?
They're up on a pedestal being paid by the club, yet their 'dancing' is just as mundane (and retarded) as anyone in the crowd.Starfield being subtle:

She could write thrilling barbaric lines in Dragons language, what's the problem?I don't think that's the point, unless his manager asked him to write as if he doesn't have any talent
The thing is, if they're selling games for 80€ now, then we should totally fucking expect decent writing. And if the writing is shit (or any other component for that matter), then devs and publishers deserve to get shit on. I am done lowering my expectations while they increase prices.I mean, we're not gonna expect Morrowind or Planescape writing in this anyhow. We should know for sure today the direction these big western "AAA" games are taking. It's sure not quality art that's their top priority, they need to bring in the lowest of the bunch, and for that they can simply borrow from mainstream "culture" or COD, etc.
Not concerned about him, Emil Pagliaglifagatello is still the lead and his writing, his understanding of RPGs is fucking awful…
