I think the Metroid Title Theme is the most underrated new track in the game and I think probably my favorite. I have such nostalgia for the first Metroid's soundtrack and this was always one of my favorites and I wish the full version appeared in more Metroids.
So how exactly do amiibos work? I keep reading that they learn from you... But how? Are there pre determined set things that they will always learn after maxing them out? Or does the AI somehow learn directly from the way you play?
I was watching this video here

And this guy's Amiibo 4 stocks a level 9 CPU when he said that he leveled up against people who aren't better than level 9 CPUs
Good games. I will say that lag got unbearable at the end.
my brainThis is why you don't judge character potential early in the game:

Sounds like monitor lag to me. Google the model number. The delay might be listed in the specs (<1ms on mine). The game really does feel weird compared to 3DS though. Like heavier/slower/sluggish in some weird way. Pro controller, GCN, my monitor, friend's TV, doesn't make a difference. I'm a bit sad about it. I only ever played up through patch 1.0.3 on the 3DS though.
I always forget marths dair is suicide in many cases.
I don't think there's any proof yet that the Amiibos learn anything. Here's what seems known:So how exactly do amiibos work? I keep reading that they learn from you... But how? Fuuuuuuck I see one with beating Classic 9.0 with no customs and another with 9.0 no deathsI have 66/140 challenges done. Some of these are going to be really tough.
Beating Classic on 9.0 with Marth in 12 minutes...is that going to even be possible?
Thanks! Nice bowser! That buffed B is so good for him now
Has anyone seen proto man's trophy yet? Also, do we have a full track list for the game?
3. At high levels, maybe 40-50, the Amiibo gets noticeably buffed in the Cruel Smash style. Moves do more damage and apparently more knockback than humans using the same character, even if you feed no equipment to the Amiibo. Maybe 1.5x to 2x the damage for the same move, for example.
2ms is totally fine. Are you using HDMI?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236117
It claims 2ms delay. That seems pretty low to me. I doubt the monitor but I should still do the camera thing compared to the gamepad to check. I think it probably feels weird even in offline play, too.
If it feels weird offline too then it's gotta be the monitor, although if it really is 2ms that should be good... I've been playing on a CRT and it feels great.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236117

Started noticing this today, and I've gotta say it's a bummer. I haven't fed my amiibos any equipment because I wanted them to just be really good standard fighters, that I could even use against my friends in my place if I wanted too or fight against if I want a tough opponent without going online. But this changes everything and just makes them unnaturally powerful and unbalanced.
It's a shame too, because the fighting style of my level 50 Samus is actually really fun to fight. But when her up smash is hitting for 40% damage, I call bullshit.
Sure, I'm a huge mega man fan so I'd really appreciate it.I bought it early today, you want a screenshot of it?
Pretty sure you can't use the hammers on these type of challenges either.Fuuuuuuck I see one with beating Classic 9.0 with no customs and another with 9.0 no deaths
Yeah, using HDMI.2ms is totally fine. Are you using HDMI?
I had the exact same experience. Level 50 Peach up-smash does like 40%, it's crazy.Started noticing this today, and I've gotta say it's a bummer. Yeah, it does seem like you have unusually low reaction time, as if you have more lag than I do.Yeah, using HDMI.
It feels practically unplayable and I'm kind of depressed.I know we're like a state or two apart, but you may have noticed in our last online match, I fell below the stage, tried for up-B with pro controller...nothing.
I can't even fast drop through platforms well. That was a problem I was having on the 3DS, afraid of damaging the circle pad, but it's here too? I have to slam the stick down, otherwise I just crouch on the platform. Half the time hitting it down quick seems to trigger crouching instead of dropping/fast fall.
You can? I think it's only For Fun and With Friends.

Accidental side b=death >.>
What song was playing?
I highly doubt it. Latency across wifi is going to be less than 1ms. It will help if you have a low quality router that has high packet loss for some reason, but anything using .11g or n should be more than adequate. So is there conclusive evidence that the Ethernet adapter helps improve the online in this game?
The wife seemed to enjoy team online but 4 players can add a touch of lag
Not sure what the name of it in game is, but it's definitely the Dark World from A Link to the Past.
UGH this is so F******* disappointing! WOW such potential thrown away by something SO STUPID GAHH
Well either I'm bad in my old age, or crazy or something, or that's just the way it is. I might try the gamecube controller again, otherwise I may just stop playing smash like two days after getting it, lol. I was looking forward to it for so long, too. =(Yeah, it does seem like you have unusually low reaction time, as if you have more lag than I do.
Oh
I was trying to test since it worked- does a normal grab have priority over ganons side b grab?
Not really sure. I couldn't tell if you were still invincible or if your grab out prioritized it.
Way better for me, although I'm comparing 3DS wifi to Wii U ethernet. So is there conclusive evidence that the Ethernet adapter helps improve the online in this game?

Many thanks, I love the attention to source material of these summaries.
