I'll help, I think we had:

-TLG
-Guerilla Games Game
-Crash Bandicoot
-Resident Evil 7
-Final Fantasy 7 Remake
-Street Fighter V

Going by this tweet:
"I know what it is and I can tell you that it will actually make a lot of noise ( and people will rage ) . # RTPrécédent"

Some big 3rd party game will go PS4 exclusive.

What are the chances it is the Dino crisis that all those rumors were talking about? That would crash me.

sounds logical, thinking about Resident Evil 7 now...or Mass Effect.

Maybe timed (like Bioshock PS3) or maybe with series expanding on different platforms (Xbone) later in the cycle (like with Mass Effect 2 on PS3)
It applies to Mass Effect, as well. The IP needs to be in a weird position from a publisher in a weird position. Resident Evil, Dragon's Dogma, and Street Fighter (less so) are in the realm of possibility. Mass Effect and Fallout are not.

I see it being one of these

Devil May Cry
Resident Evil
Fallout
The Elder Scrolls

Have we even heard anything from Bethesda about Elder Scrolls VI?

Possible.
Doubt it.
Never.
Never.

People should stop acting like Bethesda would ever make an exclusive game.
Especially with that french journalist tweet that everyone should take with a truckload of salt.

Sorry, but this is such a shitty post.

I'm glad Arc System Works, Namco Bandai, French Bread, etc didn't take your "advice" and make Street Fighter/Virtua Fighter clones or just not exist at all.

Adding twists to a genre is how genres evolve. Are you really going to call Guilty Gear "unoriginal" just because it took the core gameplay elements of Street Fighter and added their own gameplay mechanics (or as you say, "gimmicks") and flow to the genre?

About your failed idea comment which seems to be related to video games in general. You should take a look at the games that laid down a foundation on the first game and then evolved to become amazing on the sequel. Good ideas, but decent/poor execution on the first game is a good reason to try again.
Mascot fighter is not a genre like fighting games overall. I'm not even sure if it's aping a subgenre. But I'm sure that somehow justifies the existence of the last two Medal of Honor games as well, right? It wasn't a good idea executed poorly. It's a poor idea executed poorly. And first party titles are part of a zero-sum game. That money and time and manpower could be used to create something worthwhile.

I hope to see incredible new titles or new games from huge franchises, with world premier trailers or exclusive announcements in PSX.
I don't hate indie games, and I play a lot of them. But with a special trip to Las Vegas and limited 48 hours, I personally will just walk by. Oh, if it's like Journey, Rime or titles like that, I'll still be interested.

quoting myself, found that article

Fallout 4 is my current bet

Sean Murray's tweet has me excited. Now we know something big and exciting is coming (I find it hard to believe random people I've never heard of, so Sean's tweet reassures me). Having said that, as much as I want a fallout reveal and announcement, I doubt it would be a Sony exclusive. As a matter of fact, I hope it isn't. Every time a big game conference rolls around, I find myself praying that MS haven't bought exclusivity on a fallout game. I certainly don't want that to happen and I wouldn't wish it on Xbox users either.

It would make people rage, but why would it be an exclusive? They'll get more sales releasing on multiple platforms and it's not like Bethesda/Zenimax are low on cash. If they want more sales, all they have to do is put "From the makers of Skyrim" in big bold letters in all trailers and advertisements.

I'm guessing that the exclusive is from Capcom. It's been rumoured for a long time and Ono has been dropping hints.

What I listed was to help fill up the Bingo card lol, don't get me wrong.

The tweets came from this article in this post.

A big 3rd party game will go Sony exclusive, enough to make "Gaf crash" and "Immolate the internet". "Megaton material".

These people actually know what it is, so a first party game making people "rage" is out of the question.

Sounds big !

If money was on the table: I'd bet on Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, or Western IP.

I'd second for DmC, but I don't want that shit.

On the Chrome web store just search for Neogaf.

I actually don't have mine installed atm, thought I did. Hope it works still.

Uh do you or anyone else happen to know if there's a way to reduce the refresh timer beyond 30 secs? Not really seeing the "live" aspect here if I have to wait a minimum of half a minute to see new posts, or maybe it's not playing nice with gaf anymore.

The last two can be timed like Tomb Raider.

Tomb Raider is hardly the same big franchise as Fallout/Elder Scrolls.
Sony isn't known for spending truckloads of money for exclusive deals, unless they make sense (Bloodborne).

It's most likely a smaller title (sales), but well regarded within the community and has alot of fans.
IF that tweet has any truth to it at all.

It's obviously a new S.C.A.R.S game.

Think about it, we have tweets saying it will make people rage, meaning people will be getting cut over this, if a cut is bad enough it can leave a scar. S.C.A.R.S

It's right there people.

Have I mentioned before? It's not all about dino.
You could probably hunt robot deer.

the premise of that game makes zero sense how are what seems like hunter grather/ bow arrow level of tech humans supposed to fight huge robots made of friggin metal. I'm assume there is magic otherwise makes no sense.

Oh lol. Sony can't afford Mass Effect
Too much $$$ is needed to buy that as an exclusive.
Sure they can. Mass Effect was never a big seller. It's one of the few IPs that could actually benefit from focusing exclusively on 1 console.

I don't think its a good idea though. IP started out on Xbox and that's where most of the fanbase is.

I only used it once for E3 and I thought it you could change it so it updated with every new post? I might be remembering wrong.

-edit- Just tried it again and yeah fastest is 30 seconds by the looks of it, I thought it was faster then that.

Do you need sense if it's robot dinosaurs though. At that point sense has left the building and awesome has entered, rocking high-heels.

oh that part is fine. just dont get the pre medevil humans in it. Or maybe theyre super advanced where all the tech is genetic/cyborg etc. Cause just otherwise without magic zero sense. Look awesome robo dino ... rad now see you can shoot this twangy arrow and it does dmg to that hulk of metal. I would facepalm so bad.

Maybe, if so I'd sure like to find out how, would be very cool for a true live environment for the fast moving threads, though I can understand the timer as to not stress the gaf servers too much.

Unless its something like Titanfall, EA, Ubi, Acti and other major western publishers don't really have a need to sell timed exclusivity of their major games. Even EA, with the unprecedented partnership with MS, didn't let them have their major IPs as timed exclusive.

That IMO, leaves it down to the Japanese publishers.

We know from SE's financial reports that they're looking to reduce risk of development for major western games through various methods.

SE's biggest two western IPs are TR and DE.

I don't think it's that far fetched. It's more believable than Fallout, IMO.

Could you imagine the rage...if final fantasy or kingdom hearts goes back to being sony exclusive since both are announced for the xbox one as well. My buddy bought an Xbox one because he would be able to play halo, ff, and kh3 on it. There would be massive rage on that turn around lol
