I don't think TLG would be an 8/10 megaton. Isn't it pretty much expected at this point either at this event or E3 given that Sony has gone out of their way to assure people that it's still in development? Doesn't seem "GAF will rage" worthy to me.

Sony PS division of 2008 is still very close to the one of today, they never really get into deals without collaboration or owning IPs, just look at the back log of second parties and third parties IPs they own worked on by other studios

Oops, my mistake, you're right, the CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment wouldn't know better about what could've been one of the biggest PS3 exclusives. He wouldn't care about giving out that kind of answer.

If the game has nothing to do with the project we were told about, I would say they scrapped the project and made a different game

I really don't think the announcement is something like the Last Guardian or Agent, I feel like it's something that wasn't announced before. I personally want a Jak and Daxter game, but I know that's probably just a dream.

As they need something to revive the japanese console market, this is an excellent choice (Only Mr. Moskito remake would be better).

I don't understand why Suzuki never made a sequel on DS or something. There was a three year period when EVERYTHING was happening on DS and DS was cheap. Put out a visual novel and let us make out to photos of Nozomi

Because Yu Suzuki is savvy enough to know that a Shenmue game on the DS would be absolutely fucking shit and wouldn't be worth making.
