Not cool.
Hey it's okay I'm allowed to say it and point out how shameless Lucas was with the ludicrous stereotypes.
Not cool.
Holy shit at the rocks lol
I'm back here as an excuse to post the greatest bit of Star Wars-related comedy ever made:

Let me help you out here.
This guy?

That's Oscar Isaac. He's part of the main cast. He's not white. He's Guatemalan/Cuban.

So, uh... they already did.

So the fact that they're doing something now means nothing to you? What will it take to satisfy you exactly? The issue I have with all Star Wars movies is there are hardly any non-white actors. You can count them on one hand. Maybe two. Sure, TFA has two non-white main characters and one female main character, but to me, it seems cheap because of how few non-white actors have been in the movies, traditionally.
That's not to say there should be anything taken away from those three. I'm sure their acting will be good.

Anyone already talk about this?

A black make, a white female, and a hispanic male are the 3 key hero leads, that isn't diverse?
Oscar IsaacI mean it's better than normal, and that's great, but it's not THAT diverse. Who's the hispanic dude?
Though I'm not up to date if that means he's hispanic or if it's even a pc term anymore.Isaac was born in Guatemala, to a Guatemalan mother, Maria, and a Cuban pulmonologist father, Óscar Gonzalo Hernández.
I want to see more non-white and female actors than they've currently shown in the upcoming trilogy.

Man, words fail me.If they wanted to really show diversity they would have picked a mixed race or middle eastern guy as the lead. It's frankly insulting that Hollywood still thinks throwing in an african american lead suddenly makes the movie "diverse". There is more to this world than white and black people.
He's very good looking.
People do know Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie are in this right?
Some of these arguments are preposterous.
Gotta make enough room for Porkins. That cockpit looks so roomy...
Now you're just tempting fate.Come on, guys not every film franchise can be like the Fast & Furious series.
Man there are a lot of characters. Granted some might not have major roles till later. And Carrie Fisher.
And Maisie Richardson-Sellers
and Christina Chong
and Crystal Clarke
Are some of you kidding about the leads not being diverse. There's 3 leads. With some of the arguments you guys have it's like the only way for the movie to have diversity is for ALL the leads to be a mix between all the races found on the entire planet or this guy:

Curse of the mixed blood.
I'm disgusted by the fact that this is a movie about space fantasy and there's hardly a alien or droid other than the one.
Get a clue Abrams.
Boyega's part in that teaser looked out of place and lame. Kinda ruined the serious tone.
