I'm amazed that there hasn't been a solitary 3DS XL deal so far this week. I can only assume retailers have very little stock to clear in the coming months, or that they're confident they'll clear it at the over odds pricing that they currently have.
Pokemon probably shifted more than a few as per usual. I bet they are stocked up ready for Christmas since the new model has been hush hush to their primary demographic anyway. If they don't shift those, then it'll be in the new years sales most likely.
Yeah I'my guessing they don't want to rock the boat with a spike in demand if they are running stocks down.

I don't remember being mentioned here but Nippon yasan has really cheap GC Smash controllers, 1,920yen (~13). Just ordered 2 for a total of 38 including shipping. One of them White colored which I don't think is available in Europe. Beware though this was a preorder, they will be available on December 6 but I didn't mind waiting.

That's great. I ordered one (white of course), otherwise I would go over customs limit. I wouldn't have saved postage anyway. It's just 580¥ postage for 1 controller.

Nippon Yasan mark items down, never been hit by customs by them myself even when ordering two Wii U Pro Controllers. Mileage may vary as always.

By this point you're looking at either blind luck or a rerelease I'm afraid.
I got it for, wasn't it £12? in the random Argos restock earlier in the year, so there is a chance it will just pop up again at a retailer, or someone might be willing to sell a copy they kept back for a reasonable price.
Given XCX coming out this year, Nintendo themselves might also rerelease it, or who knows, maybe create an HD remaster.
That's less likely though, since that would eat into the sales of the N3DS port, but if you're planning on getting a N3DS anyway, that version would be a cheaper way to play the game, even if it won't be quite as good an experience as the Wii original.

You rip the DVDs to your NAS and put the discs in storage boxes in the loft. Then when season 6 comes out you do that too. My DVD shelf is lovely and empty

There was that super bundle on amazon uk, that had 2 Wiimotes, 3 games and the sensor bar included and was sold for 180-190pounds. If you sold all the Wiimotes and games, Wii U itself was around 110pounds or even less than that.
Currently says Super Smash Bros 3DS is £39 on Amazon.
