Ya know, I was thinking of something. People truly do want a FF7R. I don't think it is all entirely for the right reasons, though. I think fans, myself included, want that feeling that we had when we played the game on PS1 thanks to the amount of charm the game has and our nostalgia glasses are on.
If Square came out and said, "When you play XV, it will make you feel like you did when you played VII", I think a lot of the want for the remake would stop. That would be especially true if Square could deliver on such a claim.

Arturia-sama is my wife. I've had an avatar of her since i joined..although it wasn't this one...
I don't see that as the case, atleast not for me personally. I don't really care about nostalgia, i just like the lore and characters, and would like to see an old classic game that didn't age well(in between sprites and full 3D time periods) redone for modern audiences, and tied in with the compilation.
