My predictions... because why the hell not.

* Opening Montage, celebrating the 20th anniversary of PlayStation
* Andrew House takes the stage for opening comments
* Transition to The Order 1886 stage demo
* Bloodborne gameplay trailer
* Indie section
* No Man's Sky confirmed as PS4 exclusive. Hello Games joining first party lineup. Confirmed Morpheus support.
* Project Morpheus section. New details on launch, handful of games confirmed to support Morpheus
* Dragon's Dogma 2 shown.
* Crash Bandicoot PS4 announced
* Naughty Dog takes the stage to present their Uncharted 4 demo
* "One LAST thing" The Last Guardian.

Fixed.

I've been low on the hype, but it's hard not to be excited a bit.

Even ignoring the insider teasers, Sony throwing out two pre-event teasers is somewhat unprecedented, because by previous trends, there is always more announcements with zero teasers whatsoever as opposed to those they actually tease.

Most probable post all day this is probably what will happen to. Tee, minus the fact that an old IP is coming back for sure.
Not really. There are so many games missing from that list that could/should be there (Rime, Ratchet & Clank, next year's MLB etc.) not to even mention the severe lack of any 3rd party presence, multiplatform or exclusive.

The 4 projects at ND are probably Uncharted 4, TLOU 2 and two new IPs. Presumably one or both of the new IPs will get cancelled or transform into something else as time goes on.

You'd have to be insane to think ND would ever make a Crash game again. Maybe they could give that project to their interns as a PSN game.

Eh, too conservative.

Needs more of this:

Dam nice prediction if this happens it will be awesome

The only one I'm really iffy on The Last of Us 2, might switch that with The Last Guardian reveal.
I'm absolutely expecting GT7 to be announced soon tho. I think the only reason they were waiting on that was DriveClub. Now that DC is out and not doing so well, I think they want a new flagship driving game announced to get people excited.

You guys are fucking nuts.

I mean, you are setting this unbelievably high bar. Crash Bandicoot, Shenmue 3, The Last Guardian, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake are all apparently going to be there.

I'm hyped for sure, but I am keeping myself grounded. I just really hope to see what Guerilla is working on.

My thoughts exactly.

but please FFVII and Street Fighter V, be there!! *crying*

Dragons Dogma... :/

Forget that game and let's hope we get some new footage of TLG.

My prediction:

- The Order 1886 gameplay trailer
- Bloodborne gameplay trailer
- Uncharted gameplay trailer
- Couple of new Indie titles
- New TLG trailer
- New PaRappa the Rapper and Ape Escape game developed by Indie studio's
- No Man's Sky has Morpheus support
- PS1/PS2 emulation + trophy support
- Crash Bandicoot

Not really. There are so many games missing from that list that could/should be there (Rime, Ratchet & Clank, next year's MLB etc.) not to even mention the severe lack of any 3rd party presence, multiplatform or exclusive.

I know I'm just overtired and drunk

What if Crash is indeed coming to PS4.....

....but only as PS1 Classics (this would obviously mean PS1 Classics are now downloadable on PS4, of course)? That would be a mean tease. Like Vib-Ribbon tease level.

Meh, if that's all it is I'll be disappointed.

Add 1 legit revival/TLG/FF7R/Shenmue 3 and that list changes from being "okay" to "very satisfying".

Since Capcom is working on Deep Down for a while isn't it safe to discard the possibility of having Dragon Dogma 2 announced?

Deep Down is by the Online Games division. The team that did Dragon's Dogma (meaning Itsuno) have been pretty much MIA since Dark Arisen.

but....
where da megatons at?
3 megatons and a single gigaton aka
4 megatons aka
quad megatons aka
double doubletons

Sign me up for whatever bunker or hype train GAF's got going on in this thread.

I'll be at the beach the weekend of PSX, and I'll be following every damn live tweet and OT we got. I hope the cell service is fine though, I need my megatons.

One very under the radar thing i'm looking forward to is more news on the factions mp of TLoU, I've just recently come back to it and it's sogood.gif

Now that I think about it, Naughty Dog could totally work on a new Crash alongside their TLOU2 and Uncharted.

They're always hiring, why not let the new people get started on it?

"Always hiring" doesn't mean they let anyone through. Their stringent hiring practices prevents them from expanding quickly.

Some of you are smoking some good stuff. PS1/2 games are never getting trophies, period.

Regardless of whether or not PS1/PS2 games get trophy support; Sony has been looking into retroactively applying trophies to games without modifying existing code. See http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=527460. So it's certainly within the realm of possibility that PS1/PS2 games emulated on a PS4 or PS Now could have trophies added to them.

This list seems pretty wrong to me.

There's supposed to be 3-4 megatons? Gran Turismo won't be announced and neither will The Last of Us 2. Especially not Capcom vs PlayStation.

Like thuway I'm gonna guess Crash Bandicoot at the start and The Last Guardian by the end. I have a feeling Horizon will be there as well.

Yeah, they're always hiring because it's hard to get on there.

It doesn't really matter. At best you'd see it in a few first-party games. They're not going to convince third-parties to bother with this.

That's what I hope for the most, but it's highly unlikely.

if i could have two gigatons announced it would be FFVII (come on the market is there that is a system seller it would kill competition so bad it would be declared rape), also Shenmue III

All I want from the event is for Sony to announce a PSN release of Suikoden II next Tuesday.

Believe!!!! My other prediction is that they will announce the next firmware update will let you play physical PS1 and/or PS2 games.on your PS4. I want this so much

It's hard for me to detect sarcasm, but there are actually people here who believe a FF7 remake will be shown at PSX? Who was the first to start this rumor? Whoever you are..

That would leave me cold and empty. TLOU2 already? Capcom vs PS?
Sad thing is, it probably will be something like this.
