Maybe Ono's PS4 exclusive is Dino Crisis 4. Think about it; they already said they wanted to bring it back, Jurassic World is coming soon, and they've made DC exclusives before (1 + 2 to PS1, 3 to OG Xbox). So there's a precedent in that regard and the franchise is overwhelmingly associated w/ the PS brand.
Plus the West loves dinosaurs.

I hate to feed into the "hype", but if there was one crazy announcement that could pull multiple elements of teases together, it could be a new fighter IP, made with the Power Stone engine, and would feature all old Playstation mascots and maybe even SF characters.
It would explain Ono's new PS4 title (Capcom's title), the hadoken cabs advert, the Crash hints, etc. And it would be a great callback to all the famous PS icons, in a brawler game. It being built in a Power Stone fashion would help it stand on it's own, and not be associated with Smash Bros.
But yea, that's the most outrageous thing I could possibly think would be in the works. I doubt Sony bought the Crash IP for whatever disgustingly inflated price Activision would charge, and I doubt the FFVII remake actually exists in any significant extent.

Trophies added to select legacy titles and PS4 running PSOne and PS2 games would be epic. I dread to think how alluring the incentive of trophies on some of my memories will effect me.

it's supposed to be a huge playstation event. i don't know why you're doubting it so much.
Why would Sony want it exclusive over anything else? I don't believe it's coming back at all, but even less so as an exclusive.
Well they could redo it all in the style of Advent Children for example, that would be pretty terrible.
IF this is for real (which I still doubt), I wouldn't want to see any voice overs. Keep the style of the camera angles, small characters and pre-rendered backgrounds but redo them. Clean everything up and make the artstyle more coherent and consistent.
Have the soundtrack be a mix of orchestrated and updated digital pieces. I don't want any Advent Children style rock versions in it.
If the game has voice overs I think most of it would be pretty cringe worthy.

The majority of the event is about the fans attending it, ie. giving them a ton of games to see and play early and all the panels and such.
The keynote and announcements are part of the event, but they are not the focus.

Yeah I really need to figure out the pacing of all the games. Might rotate between series. I already have Jak collection, God of War saga, Sly collection, Metal Gear HD collection, Kingdom Hearts 1.5, The two good Ratchet: Future games, Demons Souls, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Heavy Rain. There's a few others I need to buy and I have a couple games from PS+ that I will be playing digitally. Not to mention Crash 1-3, Spyro 1-3, Okami HD and some other stuff I can't remember right now. It's overwhelming but I'm so hyped! On topic: choo choo

With the bombing of PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale would a new 'mascot fighting game', even with Ono at the helm, really be that hyped?
They couldn't even get iconic PS1 characters like Cloud, Lara, Snake, & Crash in the first time. It would certainly be a surprise, though.

I know Gaf loves their DD, but I'd really hope it's not a sequel to that game. Such a nice engine, that I felt was wasted on an underwhelming world/story. And I can't possibly see SFV being exclusive. Capcom seems really dedicated to continuing SF, so it would be multi-plat, unless Sony moneyhatted it, which would be shitty imo.
