Technical issues in that game are not at all related to the engine core, but rather gameplay programming problems... and the devs fault.
CE has shown time and itme again it can make ambitious graphically beautiful games.
Or- I guess we could show a minimum of respect and maturity. Crazy idea, right?

I don't think CryEngine was the problem, they had a release date that they decided to hit otherwise I suspect they were concerned at either getting left behind in next-gen hype or going over budget.
It was buggy/had technical issues that could more than likely have been ironed out with a longer development time

World Premiere = something never seen, so that includes new footage/trailers of already announced things.
