Nintendo just needs to add Twitter support to Virtual Boy. Communicating with hand gestures can be somewhat tedious.

What would make sense is transfering the whole story outside of big cities. I think that would reduce the cost and maybe even make the game more interesting when you compare it to games like GTA or Sleeping Dogs with their big cities.

That's a brilliant idea actually. But the series surely seems done after they gave up on Getaway 3 which must have been for a reason. And nope, I don't think it's because London needed their work force on SingStar and Move games. :)

They probably decided it's not worth the investment.

But one can dream.
 
So, semi-related, if Sony drops a bomb or two, could it seem like MS has dropped the ball with an "announcement vacuum" as we are approaching christmas? It might not make that much of a difference when everything is said and done. I still wonder if MS has something (other than NPD-PR) up their sleeve for next week.
 
This is completely off topic but seeing as it's a sony thread I thought I ask here. Sony stock price has been going up since their last report, what gives? they are now 25 billion in market cap :/

It's bemusing. The format of Desert Strike in the modern era surely would have appeal. 3D from the ground up for PS4/Xbone? Lends itself to annualisation with a modern Jungle / Urban Strike update to follow? C'mon EA!

Eh I'm pretty sure they're going to win November based on all the anecdotal sales evidence we have. They'll trumpet that PR horn all they can.

The market is responding well to the latest cuts and decisions Sony made, basically. Analysts are talking Sony up that they may finally be able to turn things around, Reuters picked them as "a stock to watch" for the future. Just in general a more positive outlook that's reflected there.

I'm surprised there's not more hype for the game awards, surely Sony is going to drop something there as well. Curious to see how they're gonna space out the reveals. This hype thread started waaaay too early lol, never felt this impatient for a streamed event to begin. I hope both events deliver!

Yeah, me too - the question is how long will that take them in the PR-battle? Will that be enough In UK, the rest og Europe and the rest of the world? Maybe the just don't care about non-US/UK territory anymore? And more interesting than all of the above, do they have something more?

At the end of the day it might not make any difference one way or the other, will still be interesting to see what happens.
