Gematsu: Sony to hold Playstation Experience event in December

If there are four old franchises I want back it's Crash Bandicoot, Syphon Filter, Parappa the Rapper and Ape Escape. The Getaway as a bonus.

Good grief, this thread is moving too fast for a guy in his late forties. I'm was not expecting a lot from the show, but this thread might just turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy by setting the bar so high that SCEA feels obliged to bring more to the show than they had planned originally. One thing is clear to me now, the few big game shows like the E3 and Gamescom we have now, are not enough to fill our gaming news needs.

I never expected this, but what the hell, get me on that hype train too please.

It sounds more like an IP that could stand tall beside FF than one that is meant to compete with it outright. As for why they'd want to do it, slacking off on developing your own high-profile IPs just because third parties happen to be supporting your platform right now is never a good idea.
 
You know what I'm more excited about than the PlayStation Experience right about now? The James Bond press conference in 3 hours!

LOL, I try.. I dislike marketing in general, particularly attempts at being "grass roots".

I think it's awesome when developers post here for instance; but if it's just marketers showing up in an obvious attempt to market...irks me.

But I'll be quiet ;)

Then replay the first one. It was a really shallow experience. The second one was better but was hindered by its prequel.
 
Has moore ever been on a sony stage before? EA always sent someone else.


Also I guess the EA stuff will be Hardline, Titanfall and something star wars.

Black Monday were clearly a worse game than the first. And I do replay it and like most games it ages but I still hold it dead to me.

The Getaway was a great game to me.

We haven't had a REAL Resident Evil game since Remake and that was back in 2002. If it's Darkstalkers or a back to basics survival horror Resident Evil I would be ecstatic.

Maybe i forgot alot about those games (Years ago when i last played them, i cant even remember the story anymore).

Well its a dead franchise now so... a new one wont happen.

Well who are we to say what will happen some day.

But I agree that it probably wouldn't make financially sense, if they were going to recreate the whole of Amaterdam for example. It probably won't reek in enough money.
