That's what I've been saying, let's wait for an official press release before jumping to conclusions here. The announcement hasn't come from Capcom yet, we don't know shit.

Unless it's like Bloodborne and SCEJ are helping to make it, then it's not good to leave out the 2nd place console.

It could very well be a Japanese only deal. The trailer seems to focus a great deal on that market.
I'd like to see the numbers to prove that. Seems even from this thread, that isn't entirely accurate. But I would agree, in all likelihood more folks would play on a PS4. Fighting games are increasing in popularity on PC though. Certainly a lot of fighting games appearing since 2011/12
In response to the other guy, let people believe the PC isn't a platform, and more of this stuff can happen and include the PC rather than exclude it. Good news for me I guess

I am shock it's a PS4 exclusive thought Capcom was bleeding money...oh well I am PC gamer, but I will wait, SF4 while fun is a fucking broken game with so many flaws compared to SF3, $20 steam sale for me..if they fix the ultra system I might be willing to give Capcom $40 for SF5...
I mean Street Fighter was always kind of a Playstation game, (all the alphas and other series spin offs came out on PS first). We just all played on 360 because that was the popular console at the time and the online was superior when vanilla SF IV came out.
That's all changed now, I'm glad for this exclusivity. This is a healthy kind. Think about it, there will be a definitive place to play SFV now, there will be no arguments on which platform it's better on. I mean I guess the PS4 vs PC discussion will inevitably happen but as far as tournaments go, it's gonna be played on PS4.

The difference being that they sold really bad on Xbox and wasnt worth the hassle.
SF didn't sell badly on Xbox at all to my recollection
But they are clearly not as the models are way better. Now the animations.. It's certainly early indeed.

Seriously. I honestly don't see how it's any different than the played out "u mad?" or "delicious tears" memes of old. Completely ignoring the content of people's posts and shitting up the thread with schadenfreude-indulging pot shots is never very fun to scroll through and it seems to be getting worse in recent times. Maybe I'm just getting older, I don't know. I guess I'll never understand the sentiment of enjoying someone else's frustration just because they happen to own a different video game console to you.
I'm sure Capcom will make up for its moderately dickish thing with some other actually assholish thing. That's kind of their MO.

I just think it was just filmed/made in Japan, and there is plenty of non japan footage in the video too, ask yourself this, if this was intended for the Japanese market only, why having a narrator in English? whay utting Exclusive on PS4 and PC in English if this video was intended for the Japanese market?

Looking at it, I'd say anyone who built a high end rig in 2012 chose the right time to build a PC. I'm thinking it won't exactly stress desktops.

It stems from the split in tones of posts.
Half can have actual points and want to actually discuss it. The other half resort to statements like "dick move" or "lolmoney" and meaningless speculation. If everyone curious or concerned about the apparent console exclusivity were being constructive and wanted to have a discussion and not solely complain, we wouldn't have this issue.
